I had the title for my new album, The Social Animals, years before it was recorded. As I worked on demos I would mock up different album cover ideas on my phone. I’m still trying to find them all since it was a few phones back, but dug this one up today. I dropped this idea pretty fast. This album has been a long time in the making, I would say twenty years if you are counting cosmic connections. Some things take time and there is so much beauty and sorrow and laughter and fear along the journey. I’m grateful this album is coming out now and honored by the journey. I’m trying to find my words to articulate it on a much deeper level and hope to as the days progress. Music is the greatest gift ever and so is this life with you floating through space. My new album The Social Animals is coming out very soon, February 25th to be exact. I’ll have a lot more to say about the writing and recording and finally releasing this album. I’m insanely proud of this recording and every single human who is connected to it, which is a lot of serious beautiful soul people. Was not gonna post today. But, I’m grateful to be alive for another trip around the sun with all you beautiful freaks. It’s been a magical birthday that has gone by too fast. I tuned out, I said no to a lot of things today and that is an extreme privilege I do not take for granted. Life is short so I suggest you shift your mindset and go after the life you want. It might not be easy, neither is the alternative. Get out and support the arts and music and fashion freaks keeping this world magical while we all float in space.
