6 values of the selection process of the 2015 committee of Hangar AIR (artists in residency) 2/3
The “Hangar committee” for the selection of artists in residence in 2015 was composed by: Mireia Sallarès, Nuria Güell, (two excellent artists), Tere Badía, director of Hangar, Frederic Montornès, curator and critic, and Jeffrey Swartz, a curator and educator.
Here are the values, the selection committee established for the call of this year 2015 and sent out to the preselected who finally weren't selected. Each also received a personal valuation.
"In joint decision the committee evaluates three fundamental aspects:
The real need for a studio, the work quality (of the artist), and the specific moment of the career that would make it especially fruitful to pass through Hangar.
The committee also values the knowledge and awareness the applicants have towards the heart and spirit of Hangar. The residence implies to establish a link to the community, to interact and exchange (give and receive). Lastly (the commission values) the consistency of the presented project and the interview session."
So if you got curious by now what kind of an artist am I:
I am a golden star diver kid. Mostly in a happy mood and doing SOMETHING .
Mostly to make YOU do things too. Even do nothing.
