Ironic that Dobson's "fixed" version of the anniversary comic has Nester remain a little kid, yet he acts like a blatant boomer comic character. Meanwhile, the NP version is more of a cool-yet-dorky fun guy who just happens to be REALLY affectionate towards his nostalgia.

For as much as Dobson likes to lecture others about how they need to “change and adapt”, he seems perfectly happy to stay the same bitter condescending ass he’s always been , and how dare anyone suggest he try and change.

honestly new years isn't meaning much to me this time around but i still wanna give a much needed shoutout to to james @thespyisi for helping me crawl out of the hole i was stuck in in the first half of 2015 (especially. it took me a big while and you helped me through all of it). without you i probably wouldn't be alive buddy, and i gotta thank you from the bottom of my heart.

i also want to thank dean @meilstroms/@conniefers for being my most recent shoulder to cry on, even though i haven't nearly as many complaints now as i did back then. (altho you do know i love ranting and rambling lmao)

and i wanna thank every single person who's helped me through hard times. you know who you are, who replied to my posts even when i didn't have the energy to reply back, went into my messages, checked up on how i was, or simply read my posts, maybe liked it, sent positive energies or whatever you believe in. without you all i for sure would not be here today. so thank you. and i wish you the best 2018 possible to all of you and all your loved ones

I hate to say this but for once I'm... kinda on Dobsons side when it comes to Steven Universe? I mean I get that poor mental health is a poor excuse for treating people like crap, but tbh the situation just hits too close to home for me.

I actually do somewhat agree with him in the context of “general mental health”. However, I do think Dobson is only talking about it with himself in mind, and using it just as an excuse to be as mean as he wants to people without repercussions. And in that regard, I do not agree.

I vaguely remember this comic Dobson did a while back, most likely during the gamergate fiasco, where he drew women who didn't agree with him as literal garbage. Would you happen to know anything about that?

I believe you’re misremembering some of the details of when Dobson drew comics of Vivian James to mock Gamergate and really just proved he had no idea what he was talking about. The garbage girl was a parody of Vivian called “Occu-Lass Thrift” that he drew as a “mascot” for Occupy Wall Street.

Really he just came off as kinda sexist about how he protrayed the character: as a giggly air-headed girly-girl, which was pretty much the exact opposite of what she really was. And when called out on it, he did his usual “OMG that’s not what this is about!” excuse that he thinks will make people ignore his hypocrisy and whatnot.
