I know this sounds "Salad Boy"y as all hell, but I NEED to have a keyboard next to me when I draw. Why? (I don't remember as..) Why, well, sometimes when I'm drawing I get filled with emotion that isn't getting released enough with the drawing. So then I play a song or 2 on this old keyboard (same one for like 8-9 years) and I feel chill. Me and my pal Antuon used to have arguments about what is considered Salad Boy music. I argued that the DRE albums he liked were very "Salad Boy"ish and he didn't fully seem to agree. And then I also mentioned how Kanye West seems to talk about his feelings a lot, and Antwon said "No, that's not salad boy music! That's rant music! He's ranting!". Well, ok this song I would consider rant music. Even if it's a song that was co written with my Steganothings singing partner Liz Dunning about a guy that had just broken up with her (like that same night).
