now that i think about it, of the 3 "i speak for" messiah figures rn on the lore ("i speak for the elements" Thrall, "i speak for the trees" malfurion and "i speak for azeroth" Magni Bronzebeard), only Magni is respected by everyone and is the only that one would say sacrifiesd a lot for the role he now has.

about sense8, i agree is hella racist, but you gotta agree nomi gets really interesting the second half of the season

I dunno, I mean I think her character is the most fleshed out (backstory, how she interacts with people, casting, all are super solid and really good) but I just feel something’s lacking there for me. I think I’m most interested in Kala, Sun, and Wolfgang simply because they have an interesting base story arc that was then distorted by stereotyping and they haven’t been examined nearly enough other than to go over their racist character designs and then have some ‘cool asian fight scenes’ and a weird mental romance that isn’t nearly as well structured as that between Will and Riley. I guess I’m saying that while Nomi is an impeccably designed character I’m so irritated by the fact that a show supposedly about internationalism just had the creators sticking with what they know and not reaching out. Also I don’t like her personality as much as some of the other characters I feel like that’s a part that’s not as developed as much?
