It was almost in the middle of the night when she walking down the street and she only did so when she wanted to hear peace and quiet. Of course, the Vigilante thought she was alone until she saw a shadowy figure far ahead. By their movements alone, it seemed they were lost.

Pen held between clenched teeth and hands flipping through several pages, he figures he deserves this sort of quiet. It’s a rare thing for him, really, with his nature of being active and loud. He sits, having wandered for miles away from his ship, on a hill with a clear view of the setting suns before him.

Momentarily, he takes the pen from his lips and makes a mark on a page in a map--and suddenly he’s humming.

It’s safe to say he’s not exactly expecting strangers.

V was flipping through a magazine, seeing the couples page before thinking out loud. “They can’t be serious. It’ll never work out between the two. She’s gay and he’s a blowfish.”

You of all people should know that.” The Captain turned his gaze onto the other allowing a hint of a smile to press against his lips. “As for what sort of evil we could get into, well... we could always wing it and see, right? The night is still young and I don’t think either of us are aging too fast.”

Rose had waited patiently ( not really ) for the class to end. Though the blonde tended to prefer the humanities, she had always been very fond of chemistry and Misses Grant had tried to nurture that, something Rose wasn’t used to. Teachers in her school seemed to treat the students with contempt, because they believed all of them would amount to nothing. But Misses Grant was different, she cared. 

And now she had been replaced. Instead of paying attention to the class so she could properly judge the new teacher, Rose choose to.. well.. how do I put this? Wait until the end of class so she could grill him? Yep. That’s it. 

“You look like a physics teacher. Well, at least your hair looks like a failed experiment.”

Rose awoke on what she assumed was the TARDIS, the interior was familiar, as was the gentle humming inside her head. Although this time, it felt like more of a warning. “What is it, old girl?” She whispered, getting to her knees and eventually to her head which she quickly held. “Ooh, head rush!” She chuckled to herself. “Hello?” She called out into the emptiness. “Doctor, are you there?”
