Pals, I have some great news for you all. If anyone was still worried during all of this, Ted seems to have finally had enough free time to clean up his following list.

He’s unfollowed Lilly, the girl from this drama.

Furthermore, in his cleanup, he unfollowed Elon Musk, IDF, and Babylon Bee. So all of these accounts that have been pointed to to “prove” he’s some sort of monster, he has unfollowed.

Let’s hope this nonsense finally comes to a close, as it’s clear to me that these allegations were completely false and spurred on by a group of people desperate for any ounce of attention they could get their hands on. It’s a shame that people like that exist and would want to hurt so many people just trying to enjoy something.

The thing about Ted Raimi won't die down, not with me.

People are saying that a 57 year old man following and liking the content of a 15 year old girl is okay. A child who posts and shares sexual comments, dubious content, and herself in questionable clothes is okay.

Also, those people who say her joking with her friends about apparently texting him and telling her friends that he wants her is okay

Even said as a joke, the child herself is saying this 57 year old man wants her.

Do want to leave this behind but have you heard if there was anything new on the Ted situation?

No, there’s nothing new.

If you missed it, the “DM proof” the group had was actually fake, and I believe they admitted to knowing it was fake and that they shouldn’t have used it.

So really the only thing this actually came down to was that a 15 year old was posting thirst traps online and, separately, making suggestive comments on Ted’s posts, and lying to her friends about him DMing her — because kids make things up all the time, this isn’t new.

Some of the hate group doxxed her and harassed her and in the middle of that, Ted followed her- and we will never know why but a lot of people theorize it’s because she was being harassed and people were demanding he not follow her. Her age isn’t in her twt bio.

Idk about you but that seems to make it pretty clear to me that nothing happened. None of this is “grooming” someone.

I don’t want to get into the Zionist accusations because I feel like the Palestine/Israel topic is far too complicated of an argument to just throw in as a bullet point when trying to cancel a celebrity. Also some of the attacks against him over it are getting damn near antisemitic, which is not the answer.

And the Transphobia allegations are, idk, just plain unfounded. I don’t care who he used to follow or followed now or whatever the newest rumors are around it. I haven’t seen him say anything to a trans person and I haven’t heard a trans person say he’s been rude to them so… I mean, there are too many people that want me to die for me to be guessing whether someone (who everyone says is a sweetheart) actually secretly hates me.

This Ted thing has me all fucked up. I pray it isn’t true and wish there was a way to find out. Am I really a bad person for still liking him and being skeptical about what’s been shown. I can admit it’s not the best look and then all this other stuff people are bringing up like him getting the next woman he hooks up with to mock the previous woman. I remember the previous accusations but not that one that one seems absurd. Though people seem to hate that he has one night stands and using that to treat him like scum because of that.

Are we bad for still liking Ted. Are we bad for not believing what we’ve been shown or finding it conclusive. I don’t know how to respond to this❤️‍🩹

I’m frustrated and angry because all this is doing is hurting my followers and other ted fans and frankly- I haven’t actually seen any proof of these accusations. This child does not have her age in her bio. This child is shoving herself at an adult. This child is behaving inappropriately on the internet. Ted has hundreds of people vying for his attention constantly - he is busy - he physically cannot go through every single notification he gets. He can’t go through every single DM he gets. I have seen absolutely 0 evidence of gr**ming and frankly- as someone from Florida dealing with the current shitty legislation- I’m goddamn fed up with people incorrectly throwing that word around.

Furthermore, about the minor in question: I still haven’t seen her say how old she is. The only thing we could find is she didn’t dispute it when someone else said she was a minor. And we had to dig for that. How can you expect a busy celebrity to dig through every account? Also it is absolutely unhealthy for these people to have dug through her account just to find this information out to begin with. ALSO, she’s posted a ticket to a rated R movie and Jack Daniels. Her posts, unless you dig through them, make her appear to be an adult.

I have no fucking clue what the girlfriend thing is, this is the first I’ve heard of it, and honestly this continues to sound like people who don’t like him spending all of their time trying to dig shit up about him. Which isn’t healthy. Just move on to things you do like, why are you wasting your energy on something that you hate so much??

Any time anyone talks about him sleeping with someone- these people making accusations seem to instantly jump to assuming the girl involved is some sort of victim without her opinion? I’m sorry, that sounds like such a harmful mindset to have. Without her opinion you have no idea how she felt about it- if it actually even happened. And no, I will not be hating someone for simply having hookups. I’m sorry, I’m not a stick in the mud and I absolutely support one night stands. Hell, I support promiscuity.

The Ted Raimi stuff is still going on and I see they start to contact child abuse pages? It’s been about two weeks and it’s weird how he does absolutely nothing against it? I wish I could speak up… but I’m afraid to get into the target of anyone. Is there nothing we can do?

Consider it like this, anon- We’re a small, fairly tight-knit group, focused on Ted. We see all of this. We message each other about new developments. It’s the majority of what we see online. Ted has a lot of followers, a lot of notifications, and very well may be busy. It’s easy to toss a post up online and never even check notifications. Or to engage with what you see on your timeline but not clear your notifications. He very well may not be aware of just how excessive their posting is.

Or, he may not want to deal with it, hoping that they’ll get bored and move on. I know I hope the same thing, every day. Besides, you have to think about what these people would say if he did acknowledge them. If he made a post saying “hey some people said I’m a p*do and I’m definitely not”- do you think they would stop? Of course not! They would rally stronger than ever, yelling about how he’s a liar. He can’t win when they’re so blinded by their obsession with this.

Especially because, at this point, I’m convinced the attention is what’s driving them. If this wasn’t about attention, they would stay focused on the girl they keep bringing up and not go off harassing and calling out people for unrelated things. They wouldn’t be naming themselves silly names trying to get a rise out of me. They wouldn’t screenshot unrelated posts and try to cancel members of this community on unrelated topics. None of it has to do with the girl. None of it helps their cause. So it’s for attention.

Which brings me to what you can do. Obviously replying to their posts gives them the attention they thrive on. So avoid doing that. If you need to vent, get in touch with another member of the community you can trust, or a friend, and privately discuss how frustrating they are, and how they’re obviously wrong. I’m often busy, so I can’t promise I’ll be able to chat, but you’re welcome to DM me if you just need to rant.

And then? Report their posts. I’ve been told they’ve been in trouble for spam before- and what they’re doing now is spam and harassment. If enough people report it, that’ll throttle their account. It’ll slow them down. We can’t make them shut up but we can try to get Twitter mods to shut them up long enough for them to lose interest.
