This is my current RPG Maker MV project, The Test of Time.
In the game you play as Aramos, son to the previous Tribal Chief. Your whole civilization was destroyed by a Lich, Zorgzur the Unhollow.
With the help of 4 fellow Tribesmen, Aramos finds an Untouched Valley, after escaping the Lich. Here, the player will explore, quest, and develop the Valley with Farms, Mines, Lumbermills, and the like, eventually founding a city.
While the game will have Farming, Quests, and Events, the overall goal will be to gather enough resources to build a monument to Aramos, across the river, which also means building a bridge.
Battles will be initiated by touching enemies that are roaming around.
My main two inspirations are, of course, the game series Civilization, and maybe not so obvious, the Super Nintendo game Act Raiser. Culminating in a Civ-RPG style.
If it truly stands the test of time, the game would continue, with the player ventuing out of the Valley, growing the civilization in new lands, and inevitably facing Zorgzur again; this time defeating him.
