@j.c_burke is an #Australian author, currently living in #Sydney's #NorthernBeaches. Burke's latest novel, #TheThingsWePromise, tackles the #AIDS pandemic of the 1990s. It follows the story of Gemma, an Australian teenager who is confronted by the realities of the illness through her brother Billy, a #gay man living in #NewYork.
