Markus let out a soft chuckle before kissing the lady’s hand he was talking to and wishing her a good night, flashing her a charming smile before he walked over to where his best friend was leaning. Slowly shaking her head and sighing at his grin
“I hope she pours her drink on you” She said and he laughed softly
“Oh i’m not going to see any of them again, it’ll be fine” he said waving a hand and she pinned him with a look
“You still can’t go to Peru after the last time you said that” She pointed out and he shrugged
“I’m sure she’s forgotten all about it, it’s fine” he said dismissively and she sighed softly
“Whatever Markus, just go and drink something you idiot. You’ve been dancing and talking ever since we got here.” She said and he pouted at her
“Are you sure you aren’t like an adopted sister or something?” he asked playfully and he laughed, playfully hurrying off when a flame appeared in front of her. He walked over to the drinks table and poured himself a glass, Helen and him had been best friends for thousands and thousands of years now and she was the girl he went to for pretty much everything. He owed her a shit ton but she never held it against him. He really should start to go about paying her back.
He was so lost in his thoughts he didn’t notice that someone was next to him until they tapped his shoulder, he blinked before giving them a charming but apologetic smile
“Sorry am i in your way?” he asked
