Q: What was your last 5 star read?? . . . Happy Tuesday, Bookworms! Is your week off to a good start? I hope it is! I have somehow managed to pull a muscle in my neck/shoulder, so I’ve been in a good deal of pain for the past 2 days. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m hoping it feels better soon. 🥰 How are you guys?? . . . Have you read any 5 stars reads lately? I feel like I’ve only read a few so far this year, and it’s basically just books that have made me happy during this crazy time. 🤣 (I need all the happy right now.) 🥰 My most recently 5 star read was *The Tower of Nero*, which FINALLY arrived over the weekend after being delayed, and I finished on it Sunday. I won’t go into details and spoil anything, but It was SO good. I didn’t want the series to end, but it was a perfect ending. Has anyone else finished it?? What did you think?? I know it’s not art, but I really like this author’s work and I just wanted to say: this books has succeeded in making me cry three times upon reading it to page five. So basically, three times in thirty seconds. I’m not gonna spoil though.

Piper McLean — Hunter of Artemis?

(note: I drafted this a few days after The Burning Maze came out, and then forgot it for months, oOps, but here we go)

This is purely up to debate, and I can see this going either way, but... what’s the likelihood of Piper taking up Thalia’s offer from the Lost Hero and joining the Hunters of Artemis after Jason’s death?

On one hand, I can’t see it happening, and I’m not even sure I can explain why, except something along the lines of accepting that she’ll find love again (or eventually she’ll die and be reunited w/Jason). On the other hand, she just might accept, and again I can’t quite explain it. Piper’s super independent both mentally and physically, and there are traits of independence that can be found in both accepting and rejecting the offer. Of course, Piper’s in Oklahoma now, so maybe she won’t accept after all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
