Scout, I have a terribly important question to ask you. How would you describe Rob Benedict's speaking voice (in as many words as you can use)?

he’s like…a really masculine chipmunk??? that sounds mean but i mean it in good faith

and when he gets personally defensive of something that he gets increasingly freaked out about he goes FULL CHIPMUNK and it raises gradually..but, wait, am i supposed to only use adjectives!? i’ll do that

i’d say it’s ranged from high-pitched, modulated, sing-songy and silvery, and can be a bit wobbly but

is good and genuine and nice voice

@thetwelfthdr ( on mobile so this is ugly sorry ) i see what that person mean, sounds more like concern though, but i agree. moffat isnt writing the show anymore though and i know lots of ppl thinks he’s a sexist pig and stuff so tbh im not surprised based on the shows ive seen him write lol. i dont know very much about chibnall tho so i hope hes good and doesnt treat women like moffat did !! :(( but anyways tysm for sharing that ❤❤ interesting point :)

oh, yeah, god no they could not replace the sonic screwdriver. But they were a good temporary and interesting change.

Yesss! I defs agree :’’) I was getting a lil nervous he was gunna just completely replace the screwdriver for the sunglasses and I was like :// but now that I know the screwdriver is back I was okay with the change :D

Unpopular opinion: I kinda liked the sonic sunglasses (and Moffat's reasoning that everyone could be the Doctor with them). They also made Capaldi look like a BAMF.

So I did like the sunglasses but not enough to replace the screwdriver, the screwdriver is too iconic and the sunglasses at times seemed a little tacky :// but I didn’t despise them I think it was a nice change but I’m glad to be back w/the sonic screwdriver :D
