“What, some kinda innkeep? Oh, I got the perfect gift for her type. Outta the goodness of my jolly old heart, I just might think about not razin’ her pretty little Nordic shithole to the ground. What can I say? I’m feelin’ the holiday spirit.”

“Its a honey wine, that outta explain enough for you.” Signe pulled up a seat next to the woman. Those arms didn’t weave fairy tales, this was a kindred soul that shared similar tastes. “Prefer the ale myself. Has more body to it, but don’t be caught givin’ away our secret sweet tooth, alright?”
“Ha,” she couldn’t help barking out a laugh, rough as sand and solid as stone. “I’ll be sure to keep it quiet. You needn’t worry.”
Her eyes scanned the woman. She’d given it away that she was Nordic. That made it easier. Mer were easy to sort out, humans still took some assessment. “You own this place, that right?”

“Payment... Right.” Gudunn had a bit of a money problem. In that she could never keep any. Its not that she didn’t make any adventuring, she just always ended up spending it on armor, weaponry, being scammed out of it, or just generally paying too much for services.
“Would you take a shield as payment? Barely used... This era.”

It rained when it should have been clear.
Walking down the road bound for Rorikstead was Senne, although with her head covered, the air thick with rain, and the skies shrouded with clouds, she could be easily mistaken for any number of people. Just enough light met her eyes that they appeared to be the only illuminated feature of her at all; the lantern on her belt had long since run out of fuel.
Under normal circumstances, the Bosmer would have trudged on. Usually, the rain was nothing to pay much mind to unless it was inspiration for some prose or travelling song. But today, it was getting late, and the air was nippy. And Rorikstead was still some ways away.
To the Bosmer’s relief, she spotted lights off the road ahead, like those of a farmhouse. Setting down off the stones of the path and onto the dirt and grass, muddy from the rainfall, Senne approached. This far from the major cities, the building could very well be a bandit den, by one way or another, and just in case, her hand hovered near the hilt of her sword.
With dusk setting in her figure was shrouded, it seemed. Muted tones of her outfit melded with the twilight, leaving the blue of her headwrap, the whites of her face paint, and the shimmering light browns of her eyes to be the only striking sight.
“Hello?” she knocked, “Is anyone hereabouts?”

“...A strong Nord woman, indeed. And yet, remarkably beautiful, as well. Not that Nordic women are not usually beautiful, or strong, mind you, but they seem to move towards one or the other; meanwhile, you are blessed with both. ...My name is Dalamus, by the way, and I have spoken far too much already.”

“Strong arms, knows how to work a forge, great ass. Could almost pass for Orsimer, if she weren’t the color of fuckin’ milk. I’d still give her a whirl, though. Wonder if she likes it rough…”

“Oh my gods look at her hair! And her face! And physique! And skin! My gods, she’s too much!” The taxidermist exclaimed, biting her lower lip and resisting the urge to go speak with the Nord. “She’s everything I want in a Nord lady and more!”
