The crossover we deserve
[Me & my friend about Klaus]
- He’s so stylish, he’s like the son of Jack Sparrow and Tony Stark or Sherlock.
- SHIT I THOUGHT OF JACK SPARROW TOO WHEN I FIRST SAW HIM
- Honestly, he must be out of wedlock [rus: я так и не нашла английского аналога слова “нагулянный”]
- He’s adopted by the way. And we know nothing about his real parents.
- We have some questions to Jack.

Klaus Hargreeves [2019] ☔ #NETFLIX #theséance #04 #theumbrellaacademy
Watched The Umbrella Academy on Netflix. Although my trepidation got the best of me at first, I was pleasantly surprised as the episodes continued developing. I've come to accept film and comic adaptations must be respected as their own interpretations and I enjoyed some of the changed aspects Netflix decided to take with the story. Some things in the comics I liked better but all in all solid series, can't wait for season 2! Klaus and ofc #05 were the most intriguing and I thoroughly enjoyed their character development. Only thing is I wish Hazel & ChaCha were as notoriously savage as they were in the books haha 😄 Congrats to Gerard Way & Gabriel Ba on their successful series!!

AMELIA (AMES) COSTE (READER)
ROBERT SHEEHAN
Chapter One
The air is thick and busy, holding the near voices of passerby’s and the smells of pasta cooking in the kitchen beyond the door behind me. Nervous and out of breath, I scramble to answer my phone for the fourth time during my shift. I’ve been waiting for a call and I’ll be lucky if I am even able to hear what it entails.
“Hi, hello, yes!?”, I say franticly, plugging my other ear with my finger.
“Hello? Is this Amelia Coste? I am calling from United Talent on behalf of Samantha, your agent, with some news. It’s in regards to the self tape audition you submitted a few weeks ago.
“Oh.” It was all I could muster up as my heart felt like it was beginning to fall a little. I’d been used to rejection at this point in time. Every call from my agent being something along the lines of
It’s their loss, we’ll find something better, just wait.
Patience was never my strong suit when it came to my career and my desperate need to succeed in what I love but Samantha was always there to remind me that I wasn’t the only one claiming this. So I learned to wait. I had no other choice.
“Right, well it looks like they want you to-” My bearer of bad news was cut off by my manager with impeccable timing,
“Ames! What in the hell are you doing?! It’s pushing six, you know damn well we’ve got to prep for a full house tonight!” Ignoring his call, I returned to hear what I thought was the expected. Before I could even begin, she continued on her own.
“I’ll make this quick. The casting directors for the film need you to come in today in an hour or so to meet with them. Now, I’m not sure if this will be another audition, but I would suggest you prep yourself for it just in case. Samantha will see you in an hour.” After an abrupt end to the call, I stood in silence, unsure of what expression should be plastered across my face. Surely, it ended up in panic. My shift had just begun an hour before this and now I had to find a way to end it in less than that. I ran up to my manager, the manager who could already tell what I was about to do, and pouted.
“Please? Look you know how impor-“
“Go. But you still owe me two weeks, I don’t care how famous you get.”, he says motioning his hand towards the doorway.
“Thank you forever.”, I say. Something I’ve been saying to him many times over now. I dart towards my locker, grab my things, and prepare myself for the train ride into the city. My safe song is playing into my earbuds, bringing my heart back to it’s proper measure. Looking over my lines, I begin to remind myself why I moved back home to New York City in the first place, letting go of everything prior, my whole identity had been shifted, and this was my time to step into it anew. Forty minutes later, I make my way out of the station, walking up the street as fast as my small legs would allow me to go.
“Five one five, five one five, five one five…”, I repeat to myself as if I haven’t been to this building a thousand times. Recognizing the familiar number, my nerves began to rise again as I waved to the receptionist, making way to the elevator.
“Seven..”, again with reminding myself of things I’d already known. The elevator rises to the seventh floor and immediately I see Samantha’s face standing behind her assistants desk.
“You’re here! Come, now!” She pulls my hand with meaning and I hold my other hand behind my back, crossing my fingers, hoping that she’s not just eager to give me more news of my failures.
“Everyone this is Amelia, your woman of choice.”, Samantha introduces me to all of three people, sitting with gentle smirks on their face, I came to realize just what she said and just what they were wearing. “Woman of choice?”, I ask with a sense of are-you-sure ness lingering.
“That is correct...”, the man wearing a black shirt with a huge red “N” plastered on the center said to me, staring as if he’d been watching a newborn creature just now recognizing its surroundings.
“Netflix.”, I whispered to myself staring at the ground in disbelief. The man begins to speak again, forcing me to raise my head. “I believe I can speak on behalf of all of us here who have watched your audition that none of it felt right until we saw you. Should you like, we would love if you took on the role.”
“I-I- yes. I’d love that to do that. Accept this role, I do.” Chuckles filled the room as my face warmed up, surely matching the logo on the mans shirt.
Samantha grabs my attention with her words, “You might remember how your audition was just a small excerpt from the original script, not much information on anything else or who your potential co-star would be?” I nod in remembrance. “Well since it’s no longer a potential anymore, we thought it would be a good idea to meet who you’d be working with. Although filming won’t start for another month and a half or so, he requested that you two meet sooner, in between shooting for something else he’s involved in with the company.”
Samantha uses her head to nod into the direction of the door, gesturing for me to turn around and meet face with the one I’d be doing so with quite a lot from now on. My eyes slowly trail upwards, following the footsteps of the man drawing closer to me, I lift my head to meet his, discovering a pair of green eyes staring down at me, almost as if they were hugging my face and he didn’t even have to lift a finger. I immediately thought to myself,
“I could get used to this.”
