so I honestly think that healing from loss is such an important experience and a wonderful learning time. I think its important to go through all the stages of grief and not rush it and allow yourself to feel all those emotions and talk to as many people as will listen and speak your mind and not hold it in. yes it hurts and sucks and feels like the world is ending. but the beauty comes when one day you wake up and consciously decide to heal the wounds, to recover. the beauty comes when one day you wake up and decide to open the windows that you haven't opened for so long, to clean out your house, to throw away the cigarette packs and the bottles you've been hiding in your bathroom, to open the curtains and let the sun and the air come in. you get up, put away everything that belongs into a memory box into a memory box, go through it, turn on your favorite song, take a shower and put on your favorite robe. paint your nails, go on the balcony. do whatever pleases you. start your path to becoming the person you'd ideally fall in love with
