      since their fight, all of his attempts of reaching out to her had been blatantly dismissed. he tried calling, texting and she didn’t even bother getting back to him. violet needed time away from him after everything that went down and he understood, but it had been long enough and he missed her. he wanted to talk to her, he wanted her around and even be there for her if she needed to talk with someone. he didn’t quite understand the real reason why she was treating him this way, but he knew that the entire town would be at the festival since it was tradition and just like he assumed, she was there as well. it wasn’t hard to spot her in the distance and without a second thought, he found himself marching all the way towards her. “vi, hi.” he tried with caution and ready for her to snap at him if she needed to. “i tried calling and texting but you didn’t respond. can we talk? ”
