I was having a conversation with Elsa (theunknownphoenix) and she told me one of her DW theories. I think it's accurate, so I'll write it down here, but the idea goes to her, it's not my theory. First of all, Steven Moffat once said that "A Good Man Goes To War" (6x07) is an episode about Rory. Secondly, River Song said that she went to prison for killing "a good man". What she said matches with the 6x07 title! So, Elsa and me believe that River wasn't the one who killed the Doctor (as you may remember, she was really shocked when the Astronaut shot him), but she killed her own father, Rory. This theory is very logical and I agree with it. Although...sometimes I think Moffat doesn't use logic. Any other opinions are acceptable.
