My hands-down, all-time favorite Tilena collaboration is Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

The stars truly aligned for this one. It was a golden-trio combo at the time, with Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp in leading roles with Tim Burton directing it. It really couldn’t get any better than that.

I absolutely loved everything about this movie. Helena Bonham Carter was also born to play Mrs.Lovett! Though she’s not a professional singer, she was absolutely perfect in that role. Also, this movie gave many gifts to us fans. There were so many great stories told during interviews and amazing behind the scenes photos. (My favorite is the behind the scenes photo of HBC in her Mrs.Lovett wedding dress pretending to get married to Tim Burton onset).

Also! It’s not often HBC makes acceptance speeches and this collaboration won her an Empire Award for Best Actress. (Here’s the link to a super short but cute acceptance speech: X )

Name three actors you'd like Helena Bonham Carter to work with?

Hi lovely!! I think there are countless of actors/actresses that I would love to see Helena Bonham Carter work with. And I could go on and on but here are 3 actors that i’d like to share:

Emilia Clarke

Why? Honestly just because people have said that Emilia Clarke reminds them of a young Helena Bonham Carter. I can kinda see it and they both have the over ecstatic eyebrows. Though I don’t know what kind of movie they would work together on.

Zoë Kravitz

Why? They also kind of look alike. I’m pretty sure it’s because of their immaculate cheekbone structure. After seeing that picture of them during a premiere I can see them maybe playing a mother and daughter pair maybe idk.

Robert Downey Jr.

Why? They often both play people with chaotic energy on screen lol. And I think i’d just like to see that.
