That’s a very good question! Typically, you’re right - babies do come from the mommy’s tummy. But, Daniel’s baby is a little different.
Could you share with the children why you’re going to be a daddy?
Well, let’s see... I don’t have the equipment that mommies have. I’m synthetic--my body is made of metal and plastic--and it’s based on a human male.
So what happened... my partner Kevin is very special. He has the light of a Smiling God inside of him. And when Kevin and I get very close to each other, sometimes that light builds up in my head, like a battery.
This time, there was so much light that a second little program grew inside my head. Imagine if you had an idea that was so good and so strong that it came to life--it’s just like that. Our baby doesn’t have a body yet--they’re just a little spark, made from Kevin’s light and my thoughts, slowly getting bigger and brighter.
So what we’re going to do is take that little light right out of my head when it’s all grown and ready, and put it in its very own body, just like yours. That way they can be their own person.
I’m afraid we haven’t seen him, but we’ll be sure to get in contact with your mommy if we do. I’m sure there’s nothing to worry about and he’ll be just fine--
KEVIN! Get that out of your mouth!!
Oh, dear...
You know, I think we may have found your StrexPet! I’m sure he’ll be fine - just fine!
... Well, young Mr Santiago...
I’ll keep that in mind. My strexpets never wake anyone up, and we’ve talked about sweets, but...
I think there are better, safer things to play with than your parents’ dangerous collections.
You shouldn’t play with anything sharp. You could hurt yourself. But I promise next time we go out and we visit with Auntie Stella, you can have two cookies.
Well, ah... actually, that would--
As much as spoiling in this case would dictate a diet centered on sweets, candy doesn’t contain a balance of nutrition suitable for a growing child--
What Danny is saying is that candy is just a, ‘sometimes,’ treat.
It’s good as a reward for when you’ve finished your homework or done something productive like helping your parents, but you wouldn’t want it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You’d get a tummy ache!
