“Isn’t it? I might have overestimated the second one.” If she was nervous, she didn’t show it, though she did stand closer to him as his taller frame easily dwarfed hers. Estella sighed, though her eyes widened when a gauzy curtain was lifted by the passing wind and revealed the writhing shadows behind it, of a man draped over a woman’s back while she was on all fours. Both were huffing and panting, blissful expressions showing just how much they were enjoying what they were doing. Her whimper didn’t even interrupt that hasty h.umping, and she looked up at him, now unsure.

Canticum couldn't help but grin at the mental image her visitor conjured up. "Wouldn't that be something? I hope one day to be that flood, if only those damnable heroes would stop getting in my way."

But here’s the rub! Humans and sunflowers are a lot alike. Cause there are few sun flowers, who never seen the sun….who never bloom….who never shine that beautiful golden yellow. Because they’re too busy letting the farmers tell them how to grow~ Thought provoking stuff. Isn’t it?”

She glanced down at her hands and mulled his words over. "Thought-provoking indeed." She muttered. She felt like one of those sunless flowers, withering and dying each day. A glimpse of sun was all she wanted, a hope that life would become better for her. "At least when the flowers die, they become part of the earth again and hopefully can bloom in a better place."
