Would you rather be a werewolf or a vampire and why?
I'd say vampire because if you were a decent one, you wouldn't have to kill humans at all and it's much easier to hide.Ask me anything!

Hi. Sorry for bugging you but I need some advice. I'm writing a story from the point of few of the villain. Only problem is I can't help but make them nice. Do you have any tips on how to write evil characters? Thank you so much.
Your question was perfectly timed because I just posted a response to Frankenstein that explores this.
When writing a story from anyone’s point of view, your goal should be to develop a connection between that character and your readers, and a villain is no exception. It’s understandable then that your instinct is to make them nice. My advice is to focus on what’s motivating your villain. A villain can do horrible, evil things on the outside, and have a sad, sympathetic story on the inside. You need to tap into that in order to make us care about the villain while still making him evil.
Every action of your villain should have a why. So try making a list of the major acts of evil you have planned for the story and then for each one, ask yourself, “Why is my villain doing this? What are they hoping to accomplish? How will doing this make them happier?”
You’ll also have to decide if your villain will be redeemed by the end, or if they’ll stay evil. Whichever route you choose will ultimately dictate how you plot the story.
Hope that helped!
