(1/3) Three weeks. It had been three week since Rose had disappeared. The Doctor had done everything in his power to find her, by her bio signature had changed, making it impossible for him to track her with any of her old possessions - and he had no idea where her apartment was to find something new. He finally caught a break though, trying to track the little bit of time vortex he knew was still inside of her. And finally he managed to track her down.
(2/3) It was one of those government facilities - not Torchwood, but basically exactly like them. A place that believed anything alien was dangerous and needed to be "solved." And Rose was as alien as anything these days. The Doctor broke in in the dead of night, when he knew nobody would be running any experiments - he hated waiting, but he wouldn't do either of them much good if he got himself caught too.(3/3) And there she was. Huddled in the back of a tiny cell. Naked, bearing the signs of the torture they had put her through. "Rose," he whispered brokenly, sonicking the cell open so he could get in. God he was such an idiot. How could he have let her get so hurt? But there would be time for his own reprimanding later. Rose needed him now.
"You stay away from me!" Rose's voice was no more than a whimper, though she tried to put some gumption behind it. She had none left. She hadn't been able to torture in three weeks, and having herself tortured definitely didn't fill that bad place in her mind. Not at all.
So she was going crazy. Absolutely crazy. She would press her hands to her head. "The voices won't stop..." she cried, tears starting to streak down her face.
