@thewarriorking​ sent a lil 🎶 to get a song that i think fits a battle with/against our muses! ( literally always accepting these btw )

so you will have to forgive me, because i have not seen a marvel movie in 400 years, so i have...no idea what is going on with anything anymore ldskfj but! the song is the light of nibel (feat. aeralie brighton) by gareth croker. 

from what i’ve seen on the wiki, wenwu is pretty complicated and has done some Bad Shit, and since nahia is your standard good guy, i’m sure there’s some context in which they gotta fight.

the feminine vocals are very ethereal, so that’s a definite nod to nahia’s holy origins/powers! wenwu isn’t the only one with some legendary artifacts! her bow manifests as she thinks about the people she is protecting, ethereal white and burning her hands.

i’m not sure where this fits, but nahia is a reincarnated soul from nearly 1600 years ago  -- but since she’s reincarnated, she’s still only 16. that makes her simultaneously older and younger than him? Neat.

the melody itself as it’s played on the piano is very innocent! it’s very clear that she is fighting because she is protecting other people, and she will do anything to further the purpose of overall Good in the world.

idk if wenwu is the type to underestimate his opponent, but don’t be fooled by this softness. nahia is a warrior in her own right. (0:48 pace change)

nahia is extremely fast. she will dodge and weave out of most blows, and generally will keep her distance from any major damage so that she can properly utilize her bow. while each individual arrow won’t cause a ton of damage (especially for a non-demon entity), a lot all at once takes its toll very quickly.

she will especially rely on this since her hand-to-hand combat is ... pretty poor, and this is all about martial arts.

the piano retains its melody throughout the song though, even with the batlle-like pace of the drums! there isn’t a second where nahia gives into any temptations to just go full feral or to kill him, because he’s still a human at the end of the day! she would rather give him a second chance than severely injure him.

i’m not sure how the fight would end, or who would end up besting the other, but i can def picture some kind of stalemate happening because nahia... still doesn’t want to hurt him. or if wenwu gets some of the Dad Pains(tm) because nahia is Very Young and she has resting sad face, so hitting her is like hitting a puppy l o l
