Statement regarding a label maker of doom.

Label gathered from the dissection table at the stern of the SpaceFuck machine.

“Dear Cruel Universe,” it began, “it is your fault.”

The words were written in a voice so distorted, so pitch-shifted that I have no idea how it was meant to be spoken. Even so, it was so far-off, almost inaudible, barely audible. Had it been a human being? Were they forms of machine speech, or were their words in some other language?

lab partner: Cecil actually. I think w/ Carlos he would... probably be just so far ahead of me and so into it and I just don’t think I could keep up... I think things would still be really fun working w/ Cecil though. he’s enthusiastic too!!

(As you can see your last ask did go through; sorry about taking a while to answer) but since you ask, I will absolutely do the thing for Heroes as well!

my all-time ultimate fave character: Oh you KNOW it’s Hiro!! Literally I knew he was going to be my fave as soon as he appeared onscreen. Claire is a close second!

a character I didn’t used to like but now do: Hmm... nobody, really? My mom seems to dislike Matt for some reason so I didn’t expect to like him when he was introduced, but he’s cool. Also I don’t think I really appreciated Peter or Sylar enough on my initial viewing? But I never disliked them by any means

a character I used to like but now don’t: Nobody in particular, although the degree to which I liked certain characters definitely ebbed and flowed throughout my watching of the show. The writing for Niki was pretty bad (*cough* ableist tropes *cough*) but I still like her as a character

a character I’m indifferent about: To be completely honest I mostly only care about Nathan and Noah within the context of their relationships to their family members

a character who deserved better: LITERALLY SO MANY OF THEM... particularly the female characters... In particular Simone and Niki really got screwed over, as did Elle and a couple of other characters who were built up as important and then killed off fairly unceremoniously

a ship I’ve never been able to get into: Quite a few, both canon and non-canon... I simply Do Not Vibe with any ships involving two family members or Claire and any adult character. As for canon pairings I think Kimiko/Ando was a really bad writing decision and I also do not think Matt should have gotten back together with Janice. Also Peter/Caitlin and Mohinder/Maya both came out of nowhere and were dumb, but at least they were over quickly enough and not like. Endgame ships.

a ship I’ve never been able to get over: Y’all had better believe I’m gonna be hirando on main until I die!!!

a cute, low-key ship: Claire/Gretchen is very cute... matthinder is very good also

an unpopular ship but I still enjoyed it: Regardless of how badly it may have been written, I still really like maphne on account of I just wanted good things for Daphne, and honestly, who wouldn’t?

a ship that was totally wrong and never should have happened: See my answers from the “ships I can’t get into” question

my favourite storyline/moment: Call me crazy but I actually thought the copius amount of bad futures were very cool. Also Claire getting a girlfriend was very cool and epic and should have happened way earlier imho. OH and when Matt and Mohinder were raising Molly together? Extremely choice!!! Also (because I can never pick just one favourite of anything) I thought that Mohinder and Ando getting powers was extremely nifty, and I do love the juxtaposition between one of them doing it just for kicks and the other as a last resort to save his boyfriend

a storyline that never should have been written: I don’t know about never written, but virtually everything about Niki’s storyline should have been handled a lot differently. Also, see some of my answers to previous questions and extrapolate from there

my first thoughts on the show: Wow! Best show ever!!!

my thoughts now: Not the best show ever by any fucking means, but I still really like it despite its flaws. Also, the later seasons weren’t that bad, you guys are just mean
