Ishida smiled as he approached the little kid, his tail wagging happily from side to side behind him. "'Ey, Ishimaru." He called, kneeling down to the boy's height once he was close enough. With that, he held out a present wrapped in blue wrapping paper. "Happy Birthday." -thewhitewolfoftheforest

A genuine grin appeared brilliantly on the child’s face at seeing his close friend show up on his birthday.  Ishimaru met the wolf half-way to shorten his walking distance, utterly surprised that the other handed out to him a gift.  He, too, had a gift prepared for him— it was the best time to exchange.

"This is so very kind of you, Ishida!  I know I'll adore it!  As well, I knew it was your birthday; I managed to get something for you, too!"

Normally the taunting the other school boys persisted upon Ishimaru never harmed him all too much.  By now, he's grown used to the teasing; the verbal and physical abuse.  

Although, now it had gotten worse.  An entity was gained.  A protective entity that will not hesitate to harm a school boy that dares to poke and jab at Ishimaru during school.  Incidents had happened during the school day that no one except Ishimaru could explain.  Though, knowing he'd be considered unstable and sent to the nurse, he kept everything to himself.  

Keeping such secrets to himself soon grew into a large bubble that was ready to pop due to the pressure that was added day after day.  Therefore, Kiyotaka needed to confide in someone.  To tell someone about both the entity and the bullying itself.  Who else to trust other that Kiyondo ishida?  He was always there for him.  

That is the reason Ishimaru stood outside the other's cave at this moment.  The boy sheepishly poked his head in and let out a breathy greeting that echoed off the walls.

1st person gets a kiss on the forehead

 They'd both just been together. In the soft summer silence of these woods, in the peaceful depth of this place. They'd both just stopped to lay a bit in the shade, to rest where they could, in a way and a play which Kiyotaka never truly could. Despite all the stress of his every day life, it was on account of Ishida that the former prefect still felt the strength to keep going. So there, in the stillness of their company, Kiyotaka shifted just enough so to press his lips against the wolf's forehead. It was just the gentlest touch, almost secretive between them both, even more so punctuated by the words he breathed against the other's skin.

"Thank you, Kiyondo-kun. You've given me ever so much."
