How I feel about this character
Tomoyo is the actual greatest and she deserves more love from her own show.

Mei-Ling because a) they're adorable together and b) it's 2016, please let Tomoyo be in a happy requited relationship already.
My non-romantic OTP for this character
I am super on board with Tomoyo getting a little older and moving on from her feelings for Sakura so they can settle into a friendship that actually feels equal, rather than Tomoyo silently and gracefully pining while Sakura remains clueless. I get that in-series there doesn't seem to be any negative impact to them (well, other than Tomoyo being stuck in a one-sided love), but realistically, that shit's not going to stay fun for Tomoyo as they get older. Let them move on, let them be in a more equal friendship.
My unpopular opinion about this character
I'm actually really happy you gave me Tomoyo to talk about, because I was watching a few episodes this morning and was thinking that the show really does nothing with her. Oh, she's there in every episode, and she's amazing and supportive and the best friend a magical girl could ask for, but we never really get to explore how Tomoyo feels about anything all that much. And I'd love to change that. We get that amazing episode where Mei-Ling has to accept that Syaoran is in love with Sakura, and she has to deal with that - while I don't want to see Tomoyo in pain, I'd love for her to have something similiar, like actually dealing with her feelings.
Or hell, dealing with her feelings on anything. The show really doesn't do enough with her, and it's shame. I love her, but I will say that I found her older, alternate self in TRC a hundred times more interesting.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
GIVE HER A GIRLFRIEND WHO LOVES HER BACK. HOPEFULLY MEI-LING.
