Caitlin and I bought ourselves a wii u as an early 5 year anniversary present, and I'm already in love with it. I forgot how fun playing on the tv can be, and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the gamepad is. I thought I might not like it or find it cumbersome, but it's super light and comfortable to use. Also it isn't the wiimote, which I hated with a passion and was basically the entire reason I didn't even look at the wii u initially. Caitlin's going to be trying her first Zelda game finally, which should be fun to watch.
