An effortless read !
The best thing about the book was transition between worlds and times ! I loved it. The Witch being Eliza , Elisa , Elizabeth or just best Bess ! I loved the diary touch to it !
Bess's character was quite simply amazing. Her longing for love, her desire to cure people, her perseverance in all those lonely and harsh times was admiring. SPOILER > I would love to see her come back.
Tegan's character was quite the opposite, didn't like her at all. But now what she is Witch, I think she will get better !
NEGATIVE IMAGE OF MEN ? As a guy , I slightly felt that the whole 'All men are dogs' thing being implemented way too frequently. Apart from Archie, there was not single 'good' guy. What was that all about ? I hated how there was no good Wizard but only good Witches. I am looking forward to seeing some good wizards in the sequel !
