Cliffhanger alert… 

Still with me? Okay. 

The title character is a great heroine - young, strong, independent, and curious. The relationship between Hecate and her father is a wonderful one, and the development of her character over the course of the story is intriguing and kept me turning the pages. 

I did find this to be slow in its buildup and abrupt in its ending, which will be an issue for some readers. I don't enjoy recapping, so won't here, but will simply say that I really enjoyed this one and I look forward to reading more of this new series.

An amazing read! ❤ I definitely recommend this book, if you're looking for a good story.

Happy fall y'all! (even though in Florida the closest we get to fall is one dead tree branch...) Fall break starts after today and I'm so excited to be able to read all day! For today, however, I'm stressing about a test and I've studied to the point that it's futile to study anymore. So I've decided to distract myself by taking pretty pictures of books. This is a book that I bought a few years ago, used for a penny 😁, that I still haven't read 😢.
