'Fresh outta' that... back to the trap'

Back from hiatus, The World of C may have seemed to have been in purgatory for the last couple of months but the truth is I've been taking a break from the blogosphere and living life.

A few things have been going on in the short while I've been away; London living, summer holidaying and power career moves.

Now the batteries are re-charged and it back to producing weekly content.

Life-Style | Nudie Jeans

The Scandinavian style takeover is in full effect. Brand such as Acne, Norse Projects, Han Kjøbenhavn and Soulland are beginning to creep on to the UK high street and are holding their own, emerging as the new well-designed and cutting edge casualwear front runners.

One Swedish brand in particular has taken my fancy quite recently; that brand is Nudie Jeans. They offer a range of modern silhouettes and fits to suit everyone. 

“But they’re just jeans…”, No, no they aren’t; they're the next step in denim in regards to cut, fit and durability. All their jeans are made in Italy using Italian, Turkish and Japanese denim.

Although Levi’s are still regarded as king, I would suggest investing in a pair of Nudie Jeans. They will last you for years and if you select the right shade you can pretty much wear them for all occasions. My preferred choice are the Tape Ted fit in Black; purely because I only wear black jeans and have done for the last 3 years.

Ever thought of buying or even wearing a pair of leather sweatpants? Me neither until these guys started making and promoting them, now I’m looking to get my hands on a pair of these soft calfskin leather creations, fully accentuated with silky red inner-lining and gold ‘riri’ zippers that exalt an elegant level of detail.

En Noir founder Rob Garcia, former head design over at Black Scale (BLVCK SCVLE), has created one of the hottest new American luxury designer brand, which is growing increasingly popular from the niche day-one-clientele now spreading to the fashion world following their debut at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year.

The team at En Noir have taken leather and ran with it, displaying some great pieces and silhouettes complimented with equally great treatment and attention to detail.
