The Call of Cthulhu RPG:

The Call of Cthulhu RPG is much like my Silent Hill RPG. They use a very similar format in play style and creation.

What happens is the player, you, reads the information provided below, explaining a little about The Cthulhu Mythology. After that, you will click on my submit or ask link on the home page and send me a message saying you are interested.

Every RPG will be different. Every choice you make, every move you make, every attack you make has strict consequences and rewards. Also, unlike my Silent Hill RPG, players will be subject to an ‘Insanity Meter’. Every player starts at 100 sanity but with every monster seen, traumatic experience, and bloodied kill made your sanity drops. Over time, you gain points back however.

Below is a brief summery of the Cthulhu Mythos:

The Cthulhu Mythos originated with H.P Lovecrafts ‘Call of Cthulhu’ which is the most recognized story in the Mythos as a whole. After Lovecrafts death, many authors in the ‘weird’ genre began to take gods, monsters, and ideas from his story as their own. Thus creating the Cthulhu Mythos, a series of stories about the Great Old Ones, the Outer Gods, and the creatures in between.

The setting of the RPG will be from the 1940’s to modern time, depending on what you want for your character. Many creatures will be encountered but in all, your story is simple. Your character will travel the world, exploring, learning, and meeting other characters.
