Late || Rebecca and Topher
Topher dashed across the campus, holding a book and his computer in one hand, the other trying to zip up his hoodie. Shit! he bit his lip, hearing the alarm on his phone go off. He was late to class, again. And his teacher would just leave him locked outside if he was late, this was the third time in the past month. She had kept threatening, but last time he hadn't been able to get into the lecture hall. He dropped his books, defeated, knowing that this time wouldn't be any different.
With a sigh, he sat on the ground, lying back to look at the sky, and swearing under his breath and wishing for a louder alarm clock. It woke up the whole floor, but somehow he had managed to sleep through it, only getting up when someone had picked his lock and shoved him off the bed so he'd shut off the alarm. That was what he got for staying up until six in the morning...
He heard someone behind him, and sat up, making a face and gathering his books before whoever it was decided to kick them away. It had happened before, and he turned around to curse at the kids who always enjoyed tormenting him, but this time it was someone he didn't recognize, and hr just sat there, head tilted to one side as he watched her curiously.
