Stranger Things Winter Special
Nashville anon once again. I just wanted to say I have no reason to lie about what I know. The only reason I shared that story is because I wanted to give context to the ongoing situation because it was crazy similar to what I know happened way back then. If this was an ulterior motives thing for me, surely I would have sent into Deuxmoi or the Daily Mail or something. But I didn't want this to become a 'thing'. As I said in the submission there is more that I know that I didn't share because I wanted to stick what was relevant and parallel to now. I have absolutely nothing against the woman and I don't know her personally, only what I was told at the time. My ex and his family are very respectable and honest people and I know what they told me was accurate. I wasn't trying to portray her as bad person or anything, because I don't feel like we should be judged solely on past behaviour or decisions. However, this does seem (to me at least) to be her thing. I also think we should look at this from the perspective of if she was a man, this would be seen as predatory behaviour but since she is a (WHITE) woman, it's 'feminism'. I'm sorry but that Vogue article really rubbed me the wrong way. I've seen far more people supportive of their relationship than not, so the article felt extra to me. Everyone has their own definition, but my idea of feminism and progress for women is not us doing the same questionable shit men have been doing for eons and being able to get away with it too because men always have.
I apologize for the “Joke” that i made. Genuinely. I am truly sorry. I don’t like exclusionists and, in a fit of anger, made a stupid comment. I really am sorry. This apology doesn’t erase the accidentally homophobic comment that i made (”exclusionists should burn in an active volcano. a stratovolcano, to be precise”,which could be taken as a play on gay people being persecuted by being burned alive), but I hope it will begin to make amends with those I may have hurt.
If you’d like more details or to talk anything out, please pm me.
