So I see @staff @support isn't content with adding a tab of <i>people I don't follow and have no interest in</i> and letting me ignore them cause I'M NOT FECKING INTERESTED. No, now they've started sliding *actual posts* into my Following feed like, maybe I won't notice! Oh, I notice. And I am <b>not</b> happy about it.
Tumblr is THEE last damn website that trusts I can curate my own feed, thankyouverymuch, without the aid of 'helpful' algorithms. Every time some other site starts with this crap, it's the beginning of the end. And I really, really, really hope that's not going to happen here.
For my part, I am really close to just reporting any link they 'helpfully' suggest. Except I don't want some poor rando out there finding themselves reported because TUMBLR decided maybe they could sneak them onto my profile and not get caught. But the day is not far off.
