may I present to you: the entire Lord of the Rings Trilogy AND the Hobbit any sports anime (Kuroko, Haikyu!!). any shounen anime (Naruto, Hunter x Hunter) Avatar the Last Airbender Sherlock Holmes in practically all iterations including House Stark Trek Star Wars Stargate Stranger Things Scrubs perhaps any t.v. show beginning with the letter S Community Friends HIMYM Big Bang Theory most sitcoms at this point I guess 9-1-1 B99 any cop show basically basically 90% of television Many YA books. Any classical novel from before women were considered people. I ALMOST FORGOT 90% of all MCEU & DCEU. Please remember that non-canonical gay relationships that are popular in fan spaces are NOT in fact the mainstream interpretation of that media, which still emphasizes the glory of male friendships, fraternity, comradery, bros before hos and that a small group on the internet that writes gay fanfic or draws gay art is not influencing millions upon millions of people that some people seem to be under the assumption it is. also, do not do homophobes jobs for you by reiterating this moral-panic argument about the loss of male friendships and think you need to apologize for liking non-canonical gay ships. you aren't "ruining" the relationship or taking anything away from straight men, I promise you.
