Its also know as a favorite of film director, #quintentarantino who has said that the underground Swedish movie was particularly influential on the character of Elle Driver played by Daryl Hannah wearing similar attire Lindbergs character, Madeleine. Fun Trivia:... A long standing rumor surrounding this film was that a real corpse was used for the scene where Madeline's eye is taken out with a scalpel. In a March 2006 interview with DB Cult Film Institute, Christina Lindburg confirmed this. Make-up was added to the eye, and the shot was filmed in the hospital that received the body!
