So Tom is condescending because he won't speak for Zawe? Seriously? What he did is the very opposite of condescending. He acknowledged that the best person to talk about it was Zawe and not him. He didn't make her role in The Marvels about him. As for him being a father, it's clear to everyone that his family life is off topic.

It's clear this anon is still desperately trying to convince herself that one day Tom will give her the details of his personal life she feels entitled to. And that she's still pissed he didn't stay single.

I just love how the Deniers are so hell-bent on trying to convince themselves that Tom is has miserable as they are.

They also seem to have forgotten that Tom has found regular work since 2017. Loki took a lot of his time because of the pandemic and because he was very involved in planning the show. He did Betrayal, Hamlet, The Essex Serpent, The Play What We Wrote, numerous voice-over for Apple documentaries, The Life of Chuck and has 2 projects in pre-production. That doesn't sound like someone who doesn't get cast anymore.

Tom also became a father. That must have changed his sense of priorities. As in: choosing projects that don't take too long to shoot and allow him to spend as much as possible with his family.

The article describes Tom and Zawe as reclusive. How is that compatible with a famewhore? On what planet does this logic makes sense?

Tom and Zawe didn't attend that party because they wanted attention, they went to support their friend. They only pictures we have of the 2 of them together are them leaving and a few crowd shots. They didn't even pose together for an official photograph.

Tinhaters need a PR 101 class. They sure as fuck don't understand how it works. Here's a hint: going about your day like a normal person isn't PR. They need to stop viewing Tom as product and see him for the human being he is.

Why do the Deniers are so insistent that Tom barely had a say in Loki? Is it because it doesn't fit their "Tom is just a weak man unable to stand up for himseld" narrative? Or is it because they're unable to admit when they're wrong?

It is clear Tom was very much involved in every aspect of the show from the beginning. Marvel isn't stupid. They know how much the character is loved. And they know it's all down to Tom's performance. Of course they were going to involve him. He knows the character better than anyone else. There's no Loki without Tom.

This anon is giving us a textbook case of confirmation bias. She was probably hoping that Zawe and Tom were in the verge of a breakup, instead she got a reminder of just how much they love each other. And that lead her to interpret Zawe's PDA as something wrong. Tom clearly wasn't uncomfortable. He was laughing at it. Because Zawe's knows Tom's boundaries way better than any of us ever will.

It's clear that as time goes by, Tom and Zawe are more comfortable showing PDA on the red carpet. The same happened with Ben and Sophie. In fact Sophie did something similar and the septics accused her of sexual harassement.

As for ZFC, if she's exhausted, it's her own fault. She chose to give the Deniers a platform. She made her bed and now she has to lie in it.

Tom only owns his fans a good performance. That's it. He's in no way obligated to interact with fans. Especially when it comes to his private life. If those anon can't understand that, it's their problem. Not Tom's. He doesn't have to explain or announce anything regarding his private life. That part of himsis not for public consumption. After the way certain "fans" reacted to him dating TS, I can't say I blame him for wanting to keep his privacy. Especially since Zawe is getting more hate because of her skin colour.

Jfc, tinhaters really can't let go of their "depressed Tom" narrative. Anyone who can't deal with criticism and rejection doesn't last long in showbiz. Tom went through it at the beginning of his career and that didn't stop him.

Tom doesn't look scared in public, nor has he become aloof. And he especially never suffered from a case of over inflated ego. He's much more guarded about his private life and that's it. Besides, people change as they grow older. That's human nature.

The backlash Tom got wasn't just by the press, a lot of his so-called fans did too. Fans like this anon.
