Johanna/Annie taking care of the baby together after the war.
"Johanna, stop!", Annie sounded annoyed, but she was trying hard not to smile.
"No, he's having fun!", Johanna said, rolling her eyes. She pretended like she was going to give the baby food once again, only to stop inches before his mouth, which was already open, smiling. "Now say it again: Jojo"
But the baby just made a few noises that were barely distinguishable from one another before laughing.
"He's not going to say it again", Annie sighed, it was almost the 10th frustrated tentative.
"He did say it once, though", Johanna looked at her, an eyebrow raised, "And say what you like, I never heard him say your name."
"He says mom all the time", she smiled.
"Still never heard him say your name", Johanna turned her attention once again for the baby who was sitting in her lap. "Jojo, c'mon, you can do it."
He eyed her carefully for a few seconds before moving his arms frenetically, making the spoon in Johanna's hand throw the food all over her face. Annie chuckled and took a few pieces of it from her hair.
"Don't do that honey", she said with a soft tone.
"He's a rebel, that one", Johanna sounded tired, but not mad. She poked him in the nose. "I like that. Don't let people tell you what to do. Not even me."
Annie's eyes lost a little of their glow and the room immediately fell silent.
"I'm sorry."
"It's fine", Annie said, but there was an edge in her voice that there wasn't before.
"No, it's not."
"He's not a rebel, not really, I know."
"It's not gonna happen again", Johanna says, carefully looking at Annie again. Her chest felt heavier now.
"Don't be silly", Annie shook her head and smiled again, blinking a few times. "He might say your name again."
They changed the subject soon after that. Johanna felt a little guilty, but she let go. And after she cleaned herself, she came back to the restroom and found Annie feeding the baby herself. As soon as he saw her again, he smiled.
"Jojo."
Johanna's pov as she watches katniss walk down the isle to her during thier wedding.
Johanna Mason never thought she would get married. Even back then, during her childhood, she didn't see any point on committing your whole life to only one person forever. It sounded creepy to her young years even when she became an adolescent, and then it could be only added the fact that she was convinced it was also impossible you'd only want to have sex with your husband. As she grew mature, she was thought it was also impossible she didn't think she'd ever love someone that much.
And some time after that, she realized that she wouldn't really consider a husband an option. Probably a wife.
Still, even then, she didn't think this day would actually come. But it did. And she was so nervous. She shouldn't be, she had talked about it with Katniss the day before. They promised each other they would not be nervous. But as they cuddled one last time as fiancées, she felt Katniss heartbeat faster than usual through the whole night and she knew that neither of them fell asleep that night.
Plus, she knew what Katniss was wearing, how her mom would do her hair and what song would play in the background. No surprises. They were both wearing some of Cinna's designs he left behind and none of their dresses were white. It was an unconventional wedding with unconventional brides, so why should they? They certainly weren't virgins anymore. So Johanna remembered every step they would follow and everything they had planned, hoping she wouldn't make a fool out of herself when Katniss showed up.
It didn't work. As Katniss appeared in front of her, her arms locked with her mother's, her skin glowing and her smile shinning towards her, Johanna's knees seemed to fail her. Her hands became sweaty so quickly she didn't even had the time to process it. Her breath caught in her throat and she had to swallow hard to regain the control of her body. Katniss wasn't just beautiful, she wasn't just radiant once again, she was perfect. Because Johanna understood that she didn't think this moment would come because she never believed she would find a soulmate. And right now there wasn't any other word to describe her soon to be wife.
Katniss smiled at her and she smiled back. She mouthed a how do I look and all Johanna could do was shake her head, because she didn't think she could describe it. She felt a harm in her chest that she only felt one time before: the time Katniss gave her pine needles in 13. It was their wedding decoration now and they would soon follow their districts traditions. Afterwards, they would spend their first night as wives.
And not only Johanna saw what was the point on committing your whole life to only one person forever. She was convinced it was possible to want one person for the rest of her life. And she could love someone that much. She could love Katniss that much. Not only all that was possible, but she looked forward to it.
it was all a mess after the war.
relationships mainly either got stronger or got so weak that the tragedy couldn't repair the damage. Johanna heard that Katniss' and Gale's was filed under the second case. she was just really glad that hers and Annie was filed under the first.
not only did they bonded over the terrible grief of losing the single most important man in both of their lives, but they also found out that they were a better match they ever expected. being around each other somehow made things a little bit better. they saw each other constantly, visiting every week end and were always together when holidays allowed them to. Annie didn't work, but Johanna did, so their time was somehow limited. it all changed when the news came. Johanna just loved Finnick so dearly that she couldn't believe that Annie was pregnant. she didn't think twice before deciding that she would move in with Annie in district 4 and help her pregnancy until the baby was born. that was the plan, at first. she would come back to 7 afterwards. some people in 4 promised they would always be around for Annie. yeah, that was the plan. but she got so incredibly attached to her and the most precious little boy that she couldn't leave. and Annie never asked her to. she would have nightmares every now and then and Johanna would always be there for her, to a point where they started sleeping in the same bed. in made both of their sleeps more peaceful and even the baby, who shared their room, seemed to feel the love emanating from the bed, because his midnight cries rarely made an appearance.
but the first time they ever had any real romantic situation was when Annie was making the baby some food and accidentally let it fall all over her chin and neck as she was ready to see if the temperature was good enough. Johanna just laughed and teased her about how messy she was and started tickling her with one hand. Annie then purposely threw the rest of the food on Johanna's face, that made a disgusted face. I don't know how he puts up with this, it tastes horrible. Annie giggled. It can't be that bad. And licked Johanna's lips. It was so unexpected that neither knew how to react. It was weeks until something of the sort happened again and the guilt over the fact that she promised to be Finnick's forever consumed Annie. Johanna didn't feel any better. but it kind of happened again. they brushed their lips when they woke up one morning. and they kissed after the baby boy said his first word. Mom. they didn't know which one he was referring to. and then many kisses followed and many tears followed those kisses. but more importantly, many smiles replaced those tears afterwards.

glimnisssSSS, glimmer falling in love with katniss right before they head out to the arena plz
it was one of the worst situations she has ever been in.
most people would have thought that being from district 1 and all she had an easy life, filled with soft jobs, loose compromises and a quite comfortable future ahead. they were all wrong. Glimmer never intended to be a career. she was considerably scared of the possibility of dying in the Games and the intense routines hours she spent preparing to become a killing machine left every bone of her body sore every day of every week. no one expected any less of her and it was very unlikely that she would have a future in her family if she didn't volunteered, so she did it. it was all too abstract in her head until she got to the training center.
that was when she realized that she was going into the arena. she was going to be where her cousin once was, where she became a victor and was praised like a queen for years in her family. it can't be all that hard. wrong. it can. she saw every single one of her opponents showing off excellent skills that made her feel ashamed of her owns. Katniss Everdeen, the girl on fire, was specially good with a bow, something she always dreamed of achieving. she kept her eyes open to everyone, but she was the one who always caught her attention, the one that Glimmer always secretly cheered for in interviews, the one she smiled for when she got her 11, the one that made her have some very disturbing dreams.
Katniss on the other hand didn't seem to care much for her, unless it meant she would look at her with some kind of despise for being a part of the Careers. that hurt Glimmer more than anything else. realizing that she would never mean a thing for the girl made her more comfortable with the thought that maybe she would have to kill her. wrong again. she realized while heading to the arena she could never do it. so she was the one to convince the others to let Peeta stay with them as a part of the pack. because she knew it in his eyes he never would mean her harm, that he would lead them off or that if the moment ever came she could help Peeta protect Katniss.
so when they were pursuing her to the tree and it came down to Glimmer trying to shoot her, she was finally happy with the fact that was terrible at using a bow. she made sure her shooting was even worse and secretly prayed that Cato's was just as bad. when Cato fell, Peeta and Glimmer shared a smile that sealed their pact of protecting Katniss together.
the next morning when she woke up with the terrifying reality that she was getting attacked by hacker jackers, she knew she had to run. but as the venom spread through her body, she barely could move at all, let alone escape from the mutts. with a last breath of hope, Glimmer tried to take off the bow and arrows in case Katniss came down, so she would have them. but she didn't find the strength to. she just stood in the cold ground, blinking one last time when she saw the girl on fire again. she wasn't sure if it was her imagination or if Katniss was actually there, but she thought that if she had to die, then seeing the face of the one she thought was the only girl she ever loved seemed like a good way to go.
katniss had really hot sex with madge a couple years back but they don't like to talk about it
they don't like to talk about it
and they usually pretend nothing ever happened. that Katniss didn't use her nails against Madge's flesh, that there were no bruises on either of their necks, that Madge never kissed her lips so sweetly that she could feel honey dipping out of her mouth for weeks. that Katniss didn't scream her name, that what started against the piano didn't end up in the floor and what started in the floor didn't end up in Madge's bed. they don't like to talk about the way Madge caressed Katniss' breasts like they were made of gold just to bite them to feel the flesh they were really made of. they don't like to talk about the way they think about that night every day and every night (specially every night, specially during showers) and how it would be impossible to forget what always paints their dreams.
until one night they do, and it happens all over again, and then again and then again, until it becomes the only thing they can talk about.
