@thgoodandevil || Madge and Gale
She wasn’t exactly sure how long she had been here, in this hospital wing in District Thirteen. She remembered seeing the hovercraft, seeing signs of life, when she had been left alone in Twelve , fending for herself, surviving.
Madge hadn’t really said much since that day the peacekeepers left, and the bombs came. The day they destroyed her home. She had run, like her father instructed, he had suspected something was going to happen, but it was too late to get everyone out, so he made her run, made her leave them behind. So she did. She ran to a place her father had told her about, a safe house, but she had been injured trying to get there.
When she went back to Twelve, to see the rubble, and destruction, was when she had seen the hovercraft, but her voice had become so horse with lack of speaking, and of water, that all she could do was croak to get their attention. Croak to ask for help. And when she saw HIM, she was knew she would be safe, before she passed out.
She wasn’t sure how long she had been out, but she had woken up in a hospital. Clean, very white, alone. Tubes and wires connected to her.
She had been like that ever since. Hoping that maybe he would come and visit her.
