Oh he definitely has tried and it never goes the way he envisions it, he definitely tried to get a girlfriend when he was in his teens, eventually giving up in his mid-twenties as he realises its easier to just get what he wants there and then.
Either he fucks it up for himself or the other clan members fuck it up for him (which is one of the many reasons why he gets aggressive with Pluto)
How he fucks it up himself is he has such a twisted view on relationships, getting angry that they weren't just falling for him and just screamed and cried all the time.
Trying to force his female victims into a submissive backwards traditional role of being at his beck and call, cooking and cleaning, just basically someone he controls.
Instead they would (obviously) attack him, which resulted in him abusing and beating them in return, eventually killing them when he becomes impatient with them not just abiding to his wants (which usually doesn't take long as he's incredibly impatient)
How the other Clan members fuck it up for him (say he doesn't get a chance to just abuse the shit out of the poor girls himself) they usually mock him or attempt to just take the victim for themselves to kill or assault, which is mostly Pluto trying to sneakily swoop in, which throws Mars into a tantrum of "This is mine" and either killing the victim in a 'if I can't have you to myself, no one can' or thinking that his potential gf has now been stolen and sullied so since he doesn't want that he disposes of them like some toy.
Really it's his own fault he can't get one and even if he found a gf as insane as he is, he'd still find a way to screw it up as he doesn't know a good thing even if it smacked him across the face
