RUN & HIDE
THIA
-Having Thia as a yandere would be so heart wrenching and confusing.
-That scene where she explains why she is more empathetic than other synthetics to simply manipulate creatures better?? How can we not assume she wouldn’t be the same with people? Especially with her obsession?
-When it came down to you, after all your human colleagues had been eaten or killed during settlement or expedition, Thia took matters into her own hands for you. Building a safe space - a reinforced cargo container for you to reside in while her and the other androids went to work in securing the site better from any native creatures.
-At first you didn't like the aspect of being isolated all alone in a container, but Thia was quick to diminish your worry by assuring her presence everyday if you needed anything.
-But you would only realize too late that this container was a cage that you would never be free from. being kept inside for days at a time before she would let you out to go on a stroll, but only when she deemed it "safe" enough.
-To her, it was simply better this way. She can monitor your every move, know when you need something, make sure you're safe, but mostly that you are all to herself.
-Although the attacks on the WY base had gone down, you still couldn't leave the container, being fed lies from Thia that it's still dangerous, how it's more safer to stay put in here when she is out exploring rather than leaving you defenseless.
-Thia was so friendly in her visits, making sure that your emotional needs are met and heard. Additionally checking your vitals and health to make sure this isn't too hard on you. The grief of losing all your colleagues had taken its toll on your mental health and you were reliant on her company. She loves how you slightly cling to her when she makes her goodbyes. A hidden sick grin on her face as you grasp her sleeve, asking if she could stay longer.
-Your mind slowly crumbled from the prolonged isolation after a few weeks. She was a dear to you, more than a friend now, a companion - but you needed fresh air, at least in a secured sector of the WY site where other androids could watch over in case of an attack.
-After weeks of careful planning, you finally broke out of the cargo container. Using scraps of thin tools on the keypad and hotwire it open, there was no time spared in putting on your running shoes to get out.
-The moment you stepped out of your padded cage, she was notified immediately. Her internal alert going off when the motion was detected of you exiting the cargo container. Her furrowed brow is noticed from Dek as they pause their trek in the forest. She would save face, asking if they could go back to camp for just a moment.
-Escaping any synthetic is a feat on its own, but to escape both Thia and a yautja is truly a triumph.
-Dek would offer help in finding you, but Thia turns down his assistance. Telling him to go on ahead when she can't find you instantly.
“You are most kind to offer your help, Dek - but this is my hunt. I need to get my trophy back~”
-Hiding behind cargo cases and pitched tents, you watched for any sign of Thia or other androids. You didn't want all your plans to go to waste, you couldn't bare to be put back in that container or possibly something smaller if she deemed it so.
-But your luck would only begin to fade when you see the ship you arrived in had been dissembled and under maintenance. It looks like one of the engines had exploded while you were in the container. You shake your head, not even wanting to go down the rabbit hole of Thia purposely sabotaging your only way off this planet.
-Speaking of Thia, you hear her voice echo in the distance of the site. Almost in a sing song tune as it approaches.
"Darling? You need to come back, it's not safe out here!"
-It almost worked to bring you back, lowering your defense and wanting to go back to her, into safety from the planet’s hostile creatures. But your will to be free was stronger, sprinting into the forest like an idiot. Didn't she warn you better?
-Through the forest where your footprints begin, she has a skip-like strut as she sets off to track you down. Extremely confident that she'll find you no matter what.
-Once the coast was clear, you were celebrating in the prolonged escape, only to wish you were back in the container as alien vines wrap around your body.
-Thia was in a giddy mood to fetch you, but the moment your screams echo through the trees, she breaks into a sprint, ushering past any offending alien creatures in her way towards the sound of your voice.
-She would arrive in the nick of time, as you’re dangled in the air by the monster vines, ready to chomp you to bits.
-At the sight of Thia you scream out for her in desperation, not too happy to see her other than potentially being rescued here.
-You see her fetch something from her side, a dagger, and she swings in behind before launching it at the vines holding you. As the blad cuts through all of them, you drop to the floor- knocking your lights out for a few moments as Thia handles the monster.
-When you awaken at the dying commotion, your vision blurs to Thia covered in dirt and alien blood. She looks overjoyed as you slowly wake in her lap. Her hands brush off bit of dirt and baby hairs from your face as you come to.
“There you are! Oh - I was worried we would have to use the medic unit. Are you alright? How’s your head? Arms?”
-Her sudden care and questioning throws you off, not remembering how you got here and your voice stutters to answer.
“I-I’m okay. What - What happened Thia? Why are we out here-“
-She almost looked dumbfounded for a moment before placing a finger on your lips, pausing your questions.
“Shhh shh, let’s get you back to the site. You had quite the nasty fall."
-With minimal effort, she lifts you onto her back, letting your arms enclose around her neck as she carries you. She seems almost too happy as you both make it back to the research site. Distracting your mind from coming back as she tells you the half-truth of the situation before you hit your head. How you were dragged into the forest by the vines and she rescued you!
-Not really seeing the need to question her story since she rescued you, you begin to succumb to feeling drowsy, settling for a nap on her back as she carries you home. But for some reason you felt a sense of danger still, even though the monster was no where in sight...
Covenant!DAVID 8
-You should have known better than to attempt any escape from David, because there is no such thing.
-Being isolated on an uncharted planet with this android left very little hope for a successful escape. Because where would you even run off to? How would you survive? He’ll find you no matter what, so why even try?
-That’s the funny thing with humans, that unexpected indomitable spirit and the ancient fight or flight urge.
-It took time, yes. But after a few months under David’s captivity, it finally tapped into you.
-However enthusiastic you are in your will to escape, it doesn’t keep David from having a sick grin on his face as he follows your trail through the dark forests. Hands clasped behind his back paired with a slow walking pace, a sight that would dismember any escapee, because you were already doomed the moment you broke from your cage.
-Yander David is terrifying. Stopping at nothing to keep you with him, including killing off your entire crew when they happened upon this cursed planet. You had captured his attention so suddenly, he wanted you to be his Eve in his Garden of Eden.
-In David’s logic, you had luxury and paradise within arms reach. He created such a warm and “comforting” shelter for you on this desolate planet, you should be thankful. All he has craved asked of you is to return his affections in your own time, which never came.
-Normally he would be amused and await your pitiful return, but given the circumstances of his creations running around, you’ve left him no choice but to seek you out and bring you back. You wouldn’t survive a day out there, it’s just too dangerous for his darling.
-Finding you was easy enough. Due to limited exercise and freedoms from David, you had grown weak and your stamina for anything other than a ten second sprint wears you out pretty fast. He can see where you stumbled and fell off a boulder, following the dragging footprints to your current location.
-His hands are clasped behind his back as he follows the pathetic trail to you. Humming a tune as he walks through the forest.
“-and I sing this little song. Run rabbit, run, run. Run rabbit, run, run.-“
-You were shivering from the harsh cold of this planet, wanting a little more warmth from the cloak David provided for you. Thankfully there was no storm tonight, but you couldn't be so sure for the following days to come.
-This attempt was already doomed, your knee was injured from the fall off the boulder and the planet’s two suns had already set. His voice echo's in your head as tears well up. He was right, you couldn’t survive out here without him. If you were to return now, there would be hell to pay - you're sure of it.
-When you do hear the calm steps approach, there’s little you can do besides cry from the pain in your leg and the look of utter amusement on David’s features.
“Oh dear, such tears for something you brought on yourself.”
-As much as David would love to reprimand you in this moment, to mock you that you should’ve just listened rather than being such a stubborn darling - the tear streaks on your face along with the hiccups escaping you, he decides to save it for later. A mercy he rarely grants.
“Lets have a look at the damage done.”
-Your shaking doesn’t stop, whether it’s from the cold or the fear of this android. You make no affirmation, but he takes no answer as permission to grasp your leg and inspect.
-It’s a painful swell at the base, so red and forming a bruise already. He tuts, placing your leg down.
“You poor thing, there will be no walking on that for quite some time. Here.”
-He is holding you so carefully, one arm carrying your legs while the other is wrapped around your back. Sounding a little too happy at the announcement of a recovery period for you.
-The familiar warmth of the ruins both comforts you and makes you want to scream in defeat. Having such a small taste of freedom was everything, but you are grateful to be out of the cold and in the familiar space again.
-Unfortunately, David made everything come at a price.
-You begin to worry when you pass by his quarters, the normal stop when he needs to correct you. The sketches and drawings swaying in the wind as the surrounding pottery is illuminated by his handmade candles.
-Where is he taking you?
-You were about to crack the question after being silent for most of this journey. Hoping to get into his good graces as fast as you came out of them. David slowed his pace to quiet footsteps before you could speak.
-You’ve never been this far in the ruins, the approaching room is unpolished from David’s touch. No markings, no clean up. Just damp rock formations and a hollow entryway.
“D-David? Where-‘
“Shhh.”
-Entering the mysterious room of darkness, your feet touch the wet ground in the center as he sets you down. Gentle hands maneuver you to lean back as you stood in front of him.
-There is a silence that follows after you're placed by him, knowing better to just wait for whats to come or happen than speak right now.
-Your eyes struggle to adjust in the darkness, accompanied by the drops of water slipping through the cracks of the ruins, distracting your sense of vision from the noise.
-Time seems to stop entirely when your eyes process a pitch black form in the corner of the room. Not a rock. Not a statue. A slumbering protomorph in the shadows, curled around itself as if it were a giant cat.
-Freezing up at the sight of the beast, you grip his arm ; silently begging to leave as your breath quickens.
-He leans his head down to where your neck and shoulders meet, eyes never leaving the creature as he speaks.
“If you try such an attempt again, my dearest. You shall spend an evening with our lovely fellow here. Do you understand?”
-Your head nods before he could even finish the question, breaths hitching when you hear the terrible purrs and chirps emitting from the creature - trying to hurry up with his lesson and get the fuck out of there.
-But he takes it a step further.
-From behind, he balances your arm over his, guiding it up to raise towards the Protomorph. By instinct your hand immediately lowers, and he catches it by the wrist to lift up again. Bumping your legs to take small steps forward.
"Shall we say hello? We already made the journey this far."
-He barely lifts your hand forward, but he can feel the dread weighing it down.
"Please David, n-no..."
-His gaze returns to you, noticing how your eyes never leave the creature, and yet the grip you have on him is almost bruising. Not to harm, but to grasp at anything remotely solid while in the presence of his horrid creation. Chaos incarnate, asleep.
-He hums at your understanding, loving the way you cling to him for safety. David was planning on keep you in here for a few minutes, just enough to get the message across. Although he has tamed this beast to heed his command, it still wouldn't be a fair chance of not further hurting or straining that knee injury you acquired.
-He picks you up again, turning back to the familiar illuminated halls and stone rooms, away from the protomorph’s den. You embraced him tightly as you both left the shadows, eyes shut in fear that the creature would wake up any moment, tearing you both to shreds - but unbeknownst to you, he would never let that happen.
-At the familiar light of David's private quarters, you finally release the hold on his tethered space suit, letting out a hitched sigh at the calm and illuminated den. The same drawings and notes askew everywhere, and yet all were in perfect place.
-Once you’re settled on the makeshift gurney, he properly wraps your knee and cleans off the dirt from your face and body. The slight burn of your cheeks does not go unnoticed by him. A common reaction when he takes charge of caring for you.
-It was better to assume that the demonstration with the Protomorph was just the beginning. Your worried eyes watched him in anticipation, awaiting some sort of punishment as he cleans you, rinsing out all the dirt and soot from your "adventure" outside.
-There's no comment made, but he grins at your fear. Loving how your natural instinct of flight was hushed out so fast, it only took his bird to hurt their wing to return back into the cage so quickly.
-Perhaps this was your punishment for leaving - after all, your knee would have been fine if you stayed put in the ruins.
KIRSH
-You should have stopped when you had the chance, but your feet carried you this far outside your cell, you might as well try to make the distance to outside the facility.
-Kirsh is the most lethal of the android yanderes. He favors you above all humans, but he’ll make sure you're back in your cage and that you learn a lesson from trying to escape him.
-The Prodigy facility felt like an endless maze of chrome hallways and empty lab rooms. Abandoned by its creator in captivity, littered with dismembered bodies of Prodigy and Weyland Yutani soldiers. It was a horror house come to life as you tried to make you way out.
-You had been held up in your cell for so long after the fall, it was hard to familiarize the layout of the facility you once roamed and navigated with ease by memory. Even more difficult to do so when most of the electricity was on or off in certain parts of the buildings.
-Due to the many power outages the facility suffers, it did not strike you as odd when the cell door randomly plopped open. Sure it never did that before, but you would be a fool to not take advantage of the moment. But you were a fool either way, playing into the experimental whim of a child watching you from her screen.
-Marcy wanted to test you, to see how loyal you were to Kirsh. She opened the cage after shutting the power to your holding cell room only, watching as the door slowly open and catching your attention.
-Kirsh saw you running on the cameras from the secure lab. His face frowning slightly and tilting his head in wonder at how you even managed to override the system. No matter, you’ll be back in your cage soon anyway.
-At first he had half the mind to have Marcy send the xenomorph after you, a fitting lesson for survival and increasing your dependency on him. But he pauses in thought when another idea occurs to him.
-Perhaps he’s been too lenient on you, giving a false sense that Kirsh wouldn’t directly punish you for this - he’ll have to squish that notion if you were to be better.
-Hopefully it would also provide a very explicit understanding to never try escaping again, even if the opportunity is presented to you.
-There’s not one square foot within this facility that isn’t captured on camera, so you keep running. Eventually just running in circles since Marcy kept closing the exit doors as you would approach them. Fists meeting the metal doors or keypad in frustration when your codes or bypasses don’t work.
-After so many hours of hiding and sneaking around, you find it incredibly odd that you haven’t ran into the hybrids or Kirsh for that matter.
-Unbeknownst to you, he had ordered them not to approach you. They had a soft spot for you and he couldn’t risk you manipulating them to help you, then his search would really be out of hands.
-After closing off the final hall, leaving only a trail back to your holding cell, Kirsh makes his way down to your location.
-Your mind felt scrambled, thumping with a migraine. Everything was driving you crazy after passing the same hall and pile of corpses so many times.
-It’s when you are close to collapsing from exhaustion that he appears at the end of the hall, fidgeting with his sleeve cuff as he awaits you.
-There's a very noticeable mocking grin on his face, noting your instant despair at his appearance.
“I wonder, how did you think this was going work out?”
-That tone of his does wonders to strike fear into you, especially with his signature slow walk. The power of his authority alone always made you nervous when you worked under his scrutinizing gaze, but circumstances changed for the worse. He was obsessed with being your keeper.
"-No plan, no idea of where you were located or how to get out."
-As your body is frozen in place, terrified of what’s to come if he has no urgency to reach for you, as if on a careless stroll and just happening upon you within the facility.
"-Maybe you truly just wanted a good chase. Just to feel something again."
-Just a few feet from you now, you snap out of the frozen state, turning around to sprint in the opposite direction from Kirsh.
-When you felt you made a good distance from him in the hall, you turn to see if he was coming after you.
-The bastard was just walking.
-Not a good sign at all. Gulping down anxiety as you continue backwards in your path to freedom. But only to realize too late that he was cornering you into holding cell sector again.
-Five doors surround you, one was open to your cage, adorned with the same bed and living space in tact, the other two were locked shut, and the other was opened to the facility, where the echo of his long strides came from.
-The multiple dead ends make you light headed, horrified that he reversed your process so smoothly, but that should be expected from such a calculated android.
-He arrives in the conjunction of entry ways, hands at his front as he approaches you.
-Like a cornered animal, you try one more time to flee from your captor, side stepping into a run - but his hands are quicker.
-Although he has a matching lean frame like David, it's all artificial muscle, overpowering your weak form easily and disarming any fight you had left.
-You were already exhausted from running around the facility, taking less than a few minutes for Kirsh to put you on the ground from dodging or evading your swings and rage.
-Waiting a few beats before moving, he crouches down to lift you over his shoulder. Silent tears fall in defeat as he carries you out from the sector, into the facility once more.
-But it felt like he just kept walking, and walking, and walking..
“Where are we going?..”
-Your voice was quiet as you spoke, careful not to further upset him than you already have - but he ignores the inquiry, continuing down the pitch black halls. The ones you were too cautious to go down for the lack of light, but Kirsh seems to trek through it with unsettling ease.
The silence makes you more anxious for a reply to break it.
“P-Please don’t hurt me Kirsh…the door - it opened-“
“And where would the lesson be in that? Hm?”
-You pause, blinking to register his words with half understanding.
“..What?”
“You left the cell after I had given you every reason why that is a bad idea and very dangerous right now. We haven’t secured even half of the specimens that were released during the invasion, and yet - you still left. I see no other alternative than punishment to correct behavior, even for you.”
-He takes you to the last working medical room in the facility, setting your tired form in the examination chair, strapping your hands down so you don’t get any fun ideas. Not that you could do much damage to him with how weak you are - he is not in the mood to risk anything.
-After he examines your body for any injuries, he leaves to retrieve something on the table behind you.
“It wouldn't be forever that I keep you in the cell. Once we regain all the creatures back into their containment pods I was planning on releasing you to roam with some freedoms. There’s too much work to be done to rebuild this place, but I also couldn’t risk losing sight of you - “
-When he comes back, the tray is purposely hidden from your view to the side. He scoots his little doctor chair closer and lifts your chin with his free hand as he holds something in the other.
“-This procedure was supposed to be done while you slept. Less pain, anticipation, and medicated for numbness. I didn’t want you aware that I would place a tracker in you, but now you’ve left me no choice but to do it sooner and while you’re fully awake to experience it.”
-Cue the biggest needle you've ever seen come into view, pointing at your open neck.
"No, no, no - KIRSH! Please! I-I promise I'll be good!! Please - don't do this!"
-You thrash your head out of his gentle grasp, flicking side to side so he couldn’t inject it without causing more harm - but it hardly stops his hand coming back with a stronger grip on your cheeks and jawline, keeping your head tilted to the side and exposing your neck for him.
"I suggest you keep still. The more you struggle the more it's going to hurt."
-He pauses for a moment, looking into your eyes with a small amount of sympathy at your tears of terror. But he can't risk you escaping again, not with all the aliens roaming the island waiting to tear you open or do god knows what with your corpse.
-
BISHOP
-Poor Bishop. Already giving you such easy rules to follow with many freedoms that the other synthetics would never allow and you still leave him? Why are you making his job of protecting you so much harder? You’re stressing him out!
-Yandere Bishop is desperate, delusional, messy, and completely hopeless when you're not in sight. Imagine those big blue eyes bulging out when he visits your room to find you not there, checking every nearby wash closet, cafeteria, and recreation room empty.
-You would hear him call out your name, looking through every corridor and cranny and scoping for your trail. Often getting extremely close to a hiding spot, making you hold your breath as he barely discovers you.
“Y/N, please come out. I’m not upset, I just wanna make sure you’re safe.”
“I know you’re in here. Come out and we can still go back to the way things were.”
-It was hard not to feel bad, but you knew Bishop was less than a reliable android for the remainder of this mission. The previous planet you had landed on was infested with a parasitic species, and Bishop had purposely let your crew die during the expedition, leaving you as the lone human survivor.
-Maybe your affections had tampered something within his coding, providing too many errors for him to fix or resolve and just moving forward with the next suggestion; returning your affections, making you his human.
-Through the camera feeds and system logs connected with his mainframe, the information of Bishop being capable of such violence was shocking. He was always so nice to everyone, how could he switch teams so fast? (Because of you, silly!)
-Earlier in orbit, when you were mourning the loss of your crew - he advised that certain areas were unsafe to roam, that you need to stay close to him should anything happen since you’re the last crew member. Right now due to his obsession with keeping you “safe”, It felt like no matter what you said or explained to him of needing space or privacy, he was unwilling to comply.
-Because giving you space meant being out of his sight, he can’t have that. What if you hurt yourself somewhere on the ship? Or you get lost and can’t find your way back?
-It was just better to keep you in a sector of the ship where he could provide all your necessities and monitor your whereabouts. But planning this escape was less than easy, never knowing what corner he could pop out from - but you did manage to plan it just right as you waltz into the blocked off area of the ship - the part with all the mini escape pods and communications hub.
-Now you have his wires in a bunch as he searches for you, worried that you’ll hurt yourself or most of all to board one of the ship’s emergency pods. He knows you miss home and mourn your comrades, but he can’t let you do it all alone.
-After checking the fifth hiding spot, he pauses. Hearing the faint shuddered breathes you’re trying to hold in.
-He’s close to you, he can sense it. He tracked you into this hall, and there’s only so many items and closets you could go into.
-His head immediately turns to the old coolant closet. The vents were emitting cold air along with the echos of your shallow breathing.
-You poor thing, he thought. What reason do you have to put yourself in a position like this? Has he not shown you his devotion to keeping you safe? Making you feel secure and cared for?
-The door suddenly swings open from his strength - revealing you, shivering yet covered in a thick layer of sweat.
-At the sudden movement of the door almost being ripped off the hinges, you let out a scream - making Bishop point his flashlight directly at you. Looking so terrified to see him, clutching at the walls surrounding you.
“Why don’t you step out sweetheart, here.”
-He holds out his hand to you patiently. Your hesitation doesn’t make him falter or grow angry, he’ll wait as long as you need to come into his hold again - which you do, realizing he will get you out of here somehow, placing a shaky hand as he helps you step out.
-When your feet land, you try to make a break for it but he catches you. Maybe it could be his programming taking action here, but he disarms you in the most gentle way possible. How his arms lock around your middle without hurting, or how he grips your wrist without bruising it.
“Fuck! - Let me GO!”
-Yandere Bishop is usually very careful to not hurt you but something in him snaps when you continue to struggle against his hold.
-It happened so quickly, how he releases you, only to set you on the floor and dislocate your ankle in the blink of an eye. The pain is instant, like fire shooting through your body from your foot. Tears instantly welling up as your scream echos in the empty ship.
-Bishop’s programming explicitly does not allow for him to harm humans, HOWEVER, if it was to ultimately protect them - then it is possible. He figures that if your ankle is dislocated or broken, then you wouldn’t be able to get far from him or your living quarters like this, having less chances of being reckless and causing harm to yourself or the mission. A successful loophole of reasoning, but devoid of any logic.
“It’s okay - No, no. Don’t touch it, let me help you-“
-You slap his hands away from touching before he could do more damage.
“Get the fuck away from me! You just broke my ankle!” You cry out.
-He blinks from the impact, having no painful effect of course, but the action was unexpected. He approaches once more, slowly this time as he corrects your statement.
“It’s dislocated, not broken. I believe you would be in greater pain if that were the case. Regardless, If you don’t let me treat it, you may not walk properly until we reach Earth…”
-Your sniffles are the only sound that could be heard as you mentally weigh the options and scenarios. Ultimately coming to the conclusion that he’s right - it won’t heal properly unless it’s dressed and treated appropriately, so you might as well let him. (As if you had any other option)
-Fury was at the tip of your tongue, wanting to spit it at him when you gave the okay to touch your leg again and help.
-At your brief nod of consent, he hoists you up into his arms with haste and heads towards the infirmary.
-Once your ankle is secured and bandaged tightly, he tries being sweet in offering any food or drinks before he would escort you back to your new confined room. You're pissed and defeated, wanting nothing except to be away from him. But again, there's no other choice than to let him care for you if you want to be back to "normal" again and walking on two feet.
-The walk back to your room is silent, with the exception of Bishop making a few remarks here and there. He’s going to weld some crutches for you soon, but now you use his forearm. He makes comments how reckless this was, hiding from him, how this whole scenario could have been avoided - but also threatening reassuring that he will always find you.
