More than Friends? Chapter 14 - IT IS WHAT IT IS -

Liam shuddered. His gleaming white teeth chattered and ground together as he hugged his own trembling body. His stiff arms wrapped tightly around his narrow torso. But no matter how hard he tried, the shivering just wouldn't subside. And yet, he knew this place as well as his own home by now, given how often Scott had dragged him here against his will during his first year as a werewolf. What was his damn problem, anyway? Full of frustration, the young wolf let his head hang forward, his sweat-soaked dark blond hair falling deep into his pale face. It slowly dawned on him why his loudly pounding muscle was pressing painfully against his ribcage and his knocking knees were almost giving out on him. He was afraid—not of Deaton, or this building reeking of disinfectant, but of what awaited him here.

It goes on with a lot of drama...

Title: If you’re not made for me, why did we fall in love?

Summary:  They thought they were meant to be together and their lives would entwined forever. But they didn’t know that life's a bitch and loving means getting their hearts broken, little at a time.

The wind brushed against his skin and his eyes began to water. How he wished it was the dirt in his eyes. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. It was his heart.

Does it hurt? Liam choked on his thoughts, contemplating whether he should answer his own question.

Yes.

He stared into the distance. Talking to himself felt therapeutic but it also made him admitted to the things that he tried so hard hiding. They said time would heal but time made him relive fragments of their memories over and over again.

Liam clenched his fists too many times. It seemed too easy to inflict physical pain on himself as long as he could drown the sting inside of him. But it wasn’t because one thing for sure, it ached all over.

Thiam OS - You Drive Me Crazy

"You seem nervous."

"I-I'm not."

Was it just Liam, or was the idiot getting closer and closer, while his intense scent clouded the Beta's senses even more? Even if he was never good at hiding his chemosignals—or rather, felt like the nation's biggest loser—it was exactly the way Theo handled him that made all his defenses crumble.

"Oh, yes you are!"

The hands. Those buttery soft, heat-radiating tools that cupped Liam's pointed chin and pulled him toward Theo. The distance between them was forbiddenly small. So small that Liam completely forgot to breathe as the deep, magical dark green of those eyes completely captivated him.

"Hmm, I wonder why that could be. Maybe because you stole my car?"

Chapter 13 - More Than Friends

“Theo? W-what about him?”

Liam could have slapped his sweat-beaded forehead against the wall for asking such a stupid question. Of course, there were a thousand reasons why Scott would mention "trouble" and "that extremely seductive idiot" in the same breath. Theo had apparently provided enough reasons himself. And yet, he was the one who had undergone the most significant positive transformation—even if Scott only accepted it with a literal gut ache. It pained Scott enormously to leave his protégé alone with a vengeful ego-monster. But Liam had won him over with his famous wide-eyed puppy look. At that time, the Beta actually thought he was finally rid of the sarcastic, arrogant chimera. Therefore, the fateful kiss after the five-fold punch had probably never happened.

Chapter 14 - It Is What It Is

"How long have you had this?"

"U-uh... I don't know exactly."

Of course Liam knew. How could he have ever forgotten? Just from trying not to think about it, his backside landed painfully in the slightly damp grass of the playing field. As if only seconds had passed, he perceived the clashing sticks fighting over the small, inconspicuous ball. While the regular, heated panting of his teammates manifested itself deep within his superhuman hearing. Why he was only now noticing every detail so precisely, Liam understood the least. As Theo's intoxicating masculine scent struck him with another blow.

He pressed his full lips together until they were lifelessly white to compensate for the increasingly intense pain he was feeling right now. Meanwhile, the resident veterinarian carefully ran his warm hands along his ribcage. 12 exactly defined pairs that yielded slightly to gentle pressure, until Deaton reached the area of 6-8.

Unfortunately, my allergy is very bad today, so my moodbard is not good today. Please be lenient with me 🥹🫶🏻

It seems to me as if I haven’t shown a preview in ages. But here is a small excerpt from: You Drive Me Crazy - Thiam OS

“Fuck... Fuck... Fuck.”

His entire body trembled as the noose of frustration tightened around his neck, leaving him wheezing in agony. It was only in this wretched moment, as the pent-up sadness forced its way past his long, thick lashes, that Liam finally gave up. He didn’t even look back as his soles skidded over the slippery ground, trudging through the forest with heavy, slow steps. With every meter gained, it grew darker and colder around him—and even though he belonged to a superhuman species, he couldn’t have felt more helpless.

“That’s what you get for not using your senses properly, you idiot.”
