Teen Wolf AU Fest is an open collection prompt fest that will take place over five weeks, starting in the first week of May.
This fest will be similar to fests like Flufftober or Kinktober in that anyone can participate as little or as much as they want. Instead of daily prompts, however, there will be two weekly prompts to choose from. For 2024, these prompts will be beings and places. We're also introducing bonus prompts for genre.

This is a low-key, participate as-you-wish fest. You can create something for all five weeks or just for one.
The prompts will be posted weekly through the Tumblr fest blog (@twaufest). At least one of the weekly prompts should be incorporated in the work.
There will be two prompts per week. You can use one or both of them. There will also be a bonus genre prompt, if you wish to also include that.
You can create one work using just one of the weekly prompts, or create one work with both prompts, or create two works using one prompts for each work.
All ships are welcome (or lack thereof).
All types of transformative fanworks are welcome.

Rules
AU works only. Since this is an AU fest, all works must be AUs. They can be human-AUs, supernatural AUs, or any other type of AU. But they cannot be fully canon or just canon divergent.
Tag your works. Fics must be tagged appropriately. Please tag for major content warnings and other common warnings/triggers.
At least one of the weekly prompts must be used in your work for that week.
Late submissions are accepted while the fest is ongoing. The collection will close a week or two after the fest is over for the year. If I run this fest again next year, I’ll reopen the collection at that time.

Summary:

Will Theo be able to help his new allies, or will he find himself pulled back into his old ways? More importantly, will Theo's change of heart lead him to finally confess his truest, deepest secret: he is desperately in love with Liam.

Stiles has been acting peculiarrecently, at least more strange than his normal self. Lydia first noticed thiswhen the two of them were at her house together, getting ready to watch amovie. While Lydia set up the movie, Stiles was in charge of getting thesnacks. It had been nearly ten minutes, and he still had yet to come out. Ofcourse, after hearing a prodigious thump, she assumed the worst, rushing intothe kitchen with her bare feet slipping across the tile.
When she arrives in the kitchen, she immediately noticesthat there are large chunks all over the ground, pieces of a ceramic bowl thather parents kept on the counter top. What really catches her attention, though,is Stiles, who instantly scampers away from the mess as soon as she enters theroom. His face is pale, and his eyes are innocent. At this point, Lydia justassumes his reaction is nothing more than embarrassment at breaking something.
"Klutz,“ She rolls her eyes with a slight smilebefore helping him gather up the remaining shards. The whole time, Stiles staysquiet and jittery, not talking much to her again until after the movie, inwhich he rants about his least favorite parts.
This wasn’t the only incident, however. The next occurrenceis at school a few days later during lunch. The entire pack are eatingtogether, enjoying a nice quiet at school for once. As usual, Stiles sitssandwiched between Lydia and Scott. Normally by lunchtime he is a raving,hungry lunatic, but today at lunch he seems much more interested in somethingelse. His eyes stare off into space, hardly paying attention the conversation.All of the sudden, he reaches for his drink, but somehow his fingers miss,grappling for a second before the drink spills all over Lydia and her stuff.
"Stiles,” She huffs.
He bunches up a ton of napkins together attempting towipe her off, not that it does much good. “I’m sorry! I swear I didn’tmean to!”
Then, his hands start wiping at the table where herschool items and key chain is, despite the lack of drink spilled there. Beforeshe can comprehend it, Malia is pulling her up and towards the bathroom so shecan wash off better.
The final straw is when Lydia loses her car keys. Sheswears that she left them at her nightstand, just as she does every night, yetshe can’t seem to find them anywhere. Groaning, Lydia flops back on her bedbefore dialing Stiles’s phone number, hoping he could come over and help hersearch. It only rings twice before he answers.
"Lydia,“ He greets. "What’s up? I thoughtour date wasn’t until tomorrow.”
She replies, “You’re right, it’s tomorrow, but Ineed your help. I just can’t find my car keys anywhere and I have anappointment I need to go to. Can you come over and help me look?”
There is a long pause. “Stiles?” She asks,wondering if the two of them got disconnected somehow.
"Sorry, um, I’m busy right now. Bye,“ He thenhangs up the phone immediately. Lydia is practically seething. The third timeher boyfriend is acting oddly with no explanation. She worries that he isflirting with someone else, at first, and then decides that idea is stupid.Even she knows how infatuated he is with her since the third grade. But whatelse could be going on with him?
She decides to head over to Stiles’s house to talk withhim, but soon discovers that he is not there. Instead, Sheriff Stilinskianswers the door, face wrinkling with his smile.
"Hello, Lydia! Stiles isn’t here right now,”Noah says. “I can tell him you stopped by?”
"Where is he?“ She questions.
The Sheriff scratches his head. "Honestly, I justautomatically assumed he was with you or Scott, since he usually is. All hetold me is that he was heading downtown to get some supplies for hisJeep.”
At this statement, Lydia narrows her eyes. Something isstrange here. She knows for a fact that Stiles never went downtown for his Jeepsupplies, as it’s too far from his house. He once told her that he’d be worriedabout the Jeep breaking down on the way there since it’s so far. She woulddrive down there despite the fact that she doesn’t have her damn car keys.
"Thanks anyways, Sheriff.“
She dials Scott’s cell as she walks back towards home. Ittakes awhile, but he eventually answers, seemingly surprised by Lydia callinghim.
"I need your help,” Lydia summarizes beforeexplaining to him how strangely Stiles has been acting. As she talks, shestarts to hear Scott sigh in understanding through the phone.
Scott states, “I know what’s going on. I’ll pick youup on my bike.”
Just a few minutes later, Scott arrives, tossing a helmetto Lydia. She takes it, straddling the bike and holding on loosely to Scott’swaist.
"Where are we going?“ Lydia wonders.
Scott answers briefly. "The locksmith.”
It takes awhile to arrive, but once they do Lydia isconfused as to what a locksmith would have anything to do with her situation.She trusts Scott, but really has no idea what he is doing at the moment.
"Scott!“ She shouts as he hops off his bike,now parked in front of a locksmith. "Wait! What’s going on?”
She follows him inside, immediately seeing Stiles leaningagainst the counter. The instant he spots Lydia, he jumps in surprise.
"Hey Lydia…sup?“ He stammers. Meanwhile,Scott folds his arms, sending a pointed look towards Stiles. That’s when Lydianotices the very familiar keys he is holding in one hand.
"What are you doing with my car keys?!” Lydiagrowls. “You’re having them copied?”
Scott sighs with a nod. “He did the same thing tome. Listen, Stiles, you really need to ask first—”
"Wait a minute, are you copying all me keys? That’swhy you’ve been so suspicious!“ Lydia realizes. "I can’t believe you!You’re such an idiot!”
"Listen, Lyds, I’m so sorry! I just needed to borrowyour car—"
"Try again.“
"There’s a new supernatural being in this town that—”
"Stiles.“
He sighs in resignation. "Fine, fine. Look, Lydia, Ijust love you a lot and want to always make sure your safe, that I can get toyou at all times.”
"But my car keys?“
"What if you get trapped in your car, or my carbreaks down and I have to save you, or—”
"Stiles.“ He continues rambling on, and Lydiarolls her eyes. She steps up to him, pressing a finger to his lips. His eyestrail down to her, obvious confusion in his eyes. Then, she leans forwards andpresses her lips to his for a blissful few seconds in order to shut him up.
"I can’t say I’m not mad,” Lydia says,“But I’m oddly flattered?” Stiles grins cheekily, wrapping one armaround her shoulders, pressing a kiss to her head and dropping the keys intoher hand.
"I’m still angry! And you better not copy anymore ofmy keys!“
Stiles relents, "Fine, I won’t. As long as I cankeep the copies I already made?”
