A Dark Hook AU

Well, well, well...look who we have here...

Yeah, tis I, and I have written my very first DARK HOOK AU!!!!

This concept was born 18 hours ago with the help of @caught-in-the-filter and here it is in all of its glory!

This fic is quite possibly going to go up in rating. This will be my first truly adult story, and the themes are going to be muuuuuch darker than what I currently am working with in Blood & Magic and Perilous Harbor. I hope you’re all into that!

Where Broken Paths Collide [CS AU Fic]

SUMMARY

Emma feels the thrill in stealing, as her job is to be a thief and survive with her captures. But, when she unintentionally walks into someone getting murdered, can she manage to bargain with the assassin so she can survive? Perhaps she can, but there’s more to it than that. There’s always complications, and maybe feelings are one of them.

Once Upon a Time

Upon waking up, Emma felt strange. Even before opening her eyes, she knew something was off. Instead of feeling the cold forest floor on her back, she felt almost a cloud like softness. Instead of smelling the dirt and the morning dew, she smelled fine fragrances. 'What the hell?' If she was still sleeping, this was a nice dream. But she was growing anxious, so she opened her eyes, and her jaw all but dropped when she did. This...was definitely not the part of the forest that she'd fallen asleep in. She was in a large, luxurious bed, in a large room filled with many trinkets and adornments. 'I definitely didn't steal this...' Despite her skills of thievery, she had never even laid her eyes on anything this marvelous. She cussed under her breath and pulled the bedsheet off of the bed. She had to get out of here before she was caught. Using it as a makeshift sack, she shoved a few of the most expensive looking things in, and made for the window to make her escape before the owner of the room got back.

She was only a hop away from freedom when the doors opened, and two ladies in maid's uniforms entered her room. "Princess Emma, what are you doing?" they asked, confused. Their words made Emma drop everything in her hands."Princess?"
