3: Original trilogy, reboot or both?

I played the reboot first, and have played part of Thief: Gold and intend on finishing the original trilogy. I love the lore of the original trilogy so much, and after learning it I wish that more of it had been incorporated in the reboot. TL;DR the reboot has my heart, but that is subject to change as I finish the original trilogy.

9: Do you play fan missions?

I did not know such things existed, they seem like they would be fun, though!

12: If you were a resident of the City, who would you most likely be?

Definitely one of the lower class people NPC's-- I'm pretty average to be any sort of royalty. I'd like to think I'd join the Keepers/ be a thief or some sort of crafter but i dunno

13: Favourite faction?

I don't know a lot about the Mechanists, only that they gave Garrett his mechanical eye and split off from the Hammerites in a bad way, and according to the Thief: The Dark wiki they were hostile towards Garrett so they're the bad guys? Anyway, I'd go with the Keepers, since I love the lore surrounding them.

I-I didnt actually expect to get any asks for this but here goes:

2: How did you first hear about the Thief games and what made you decide to play them?

When the first game came out way back when my dad got it for free when he bought a sound card and he was in the habit of playing video games while me and my sisters watched, that shit was better than bedtime stories. I was probably like 5 or so when that happened but when I was like 12 the third game came out and I was really into watching my dad play that and when he finished I decided I wanted to play and whelp here I am.

4: What is your favourite Thief game?

Don’t make me choose D: I love them all for different reasons. The first and second games have such amazing plotlines and characters and uuuuggggg i love them so much, but they’re hard to play. I cant play the first game at all and the second game I can get up until the mecha beasts and them I’m just like NOPE. The third game was the first I played on my own and is so much fun and easy for me to play but the plot isn’t quite as good as the previous games :/ The fourth game’s plot sucks, there I said it, and junior will always play second fiddle to senior in my heart but the gameplay is. SO. MUCH. FUN!!!!! I’d play it forever if it didnt over heat my computer and lag like hell after 5 mins. I really wish there were fanmissions and some DLCs for it

6: Favourite level?

Probably Moira in the THIRD game, loved the manor, thought the ambient music was beautiful and the loot fun to steal and the guards fun to avoid/black jack. Shipping and receiving in the second was so much fun too, so much freedom. The fourth game is either Dust to Dust (b/c it was just a lot of fun to play and the setting was creepy but not scary + unique to me) or Dirty Secrets b/c also fun to play and setting was really pretty and also old keeper ruins. A Friend In Need would also be up here b/c the thieves high way and mansion were so much fun but I hated the keep.

8: Favourite character that isn’t Garrett?

NO fuck you Garrett is life. lol jk uuuuuhhhhhhh probably Artemis or new Basso and omg I’m such homestuck trash I pale ship them so hard with their respective Garretts <><><><> (if anyone who reads this is THIEFstuck trash plz pm me I am so lonely)

10: Ghost, Predator or Opportunist?

Opportunist I am much to impatient to ghost. My dad always does (for the older games b/c his computer is trash) and he’s always swearing everything he gets caught and I love blackjacking ppl and reining supreme over the map and a bunch of unconscious ppl.

12: If you were a resident of the City, who would you most likely be?

I would try to be a thief but fail miserably i’m sure but I cant see myself doing anything else except maybe join the mages or the keepers if either order is around I love magic and secrets and shit.

14: Do you have anything in common with Garrett?

I’m pretty stealthy? I can always sneak up on all of my friends. I’m also totally ace and no one will ever convince me that Garrett isn’t AT LEAST on the ace spectrum somewhere.

Snowdrift turned over in slumber, only to hear a suspicious ‘clink-clinking’ noise…the sounds of glass gently striking each other. He was about to dismiss it and go back to sleep, when he heard it again. Snowdrift’s eyes snapped open this time, but they were still clouded by slumber as the huge Pandaren rolled out of bed and to his feet. Someone is in my quarters. Snowdrift thought coldly.

He found the staff after a moment and approached the heavy white oblong device. Someone had explained to him that it was a food storage unit, and Snowdrift was amazed when it did, in fact, keep his cooler items quite cold. This was the source of the sounds…the device’s heavy door was open. His staff in striking position, Snowdrift approached the individual, suspicion in his eyes.

Snowdrift cleared his throat. This person was likely attempting to eat him out of house and home. “Wise people…do not steal food from Pandaren.” Snowdrift stated in his most calm voice, hefting the staff. “It is generally considered…inadvisable.”
