Archeological evidence that Goshi used to be hot as fuck
This is my favorite spread of any of my doujinshi
My face when there are new likes/comments on Truthspell (thiefshipping mix): 8)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I literally hate the tumblr mobile app Now when browsing the thieftag I'm not only treated to the usual suspects, but also ALL THE UNTAGGED SHIP HATE I can stay strong in the face of the regular tag, but having to read "unpopular opinion, idg thiefshipping that isn't influenced by the abridged series" THAT'S NOT AN UNPOPULAR OPINION JFC WE'RE DROWNING HERE And you know, things like "omg I hate thiefshipping with the fire of fifteen burning suns and anyone who ships it is a fuckbait", and "Bakura is a paedophile lolllll" I DON'T NEED TO READ THIS, TUMBLR MOBILE APPLICATION. I DON'T.
Amakura: are you an ever expanding, fire-breathing star that swallows the weak and gathers the elements around you to form your own internal galaxy, gathering the power of billions of would-have-been destinies inside yourself, so that when Malik rips open your skin the storm comes pouring out???
no
because you are not bakura
Arostine: how do you know
Amakura: because
Arostine: my thermos says "keep calm and sparkle on"
that could be the internal galaxy
u don't know
Amakura: you cannot be calm and be a galaxy like Bakura
Arostine: that's true. i'm not much like bakura or malik which is DISAPPPOINTING
but i admire them from afar
like gods
Amakura: we're gonna wait for them
like empty houses
Arostine: they will live again in freedom in the garden of the lord
Seriously if you love me a lot (or even just a little), all you need do to make me obscenely happy is seriously discuss canon thief or draw Malik Ishtar in a suit. That's it.
Sometime soon I'm going to make a Thiefshipping Fandom Bingo and watch everyone on my friends list get drunk
I was wondering: how do you feel about Little Kuriboh's fic "Long Gone?" (I kind of think of it as a bridge [no pun intended, I promise] between canon and Abridged thiefshipping, or at least as his take on canon thiefshipping. It also made me cry like a little kid...)
There are a lot of things about Long Gone that I enjoy, and I do have to say that I was very happy to see LK do a take on canon thiefshipping. I'd been very curious about his thoughts about them for a while! I think that the worst and also the best aspect of it is the fact that Bakura cannot die, and just jumps from host to host.
While I think that this makes for an excellent story because it HUUURTS, but it also means that he was never trapped in the Ring in the first place, and has lived through 3000+ years of history. That kind of ruins the thiefshipping a bit for me, because its hard to imagine someone so old as a Bakura who could develop feelings of empathy/maybe love for a 17 year old boy. :( But, I do think he communicated the feeling of lost opportunity and of respect for each other that's so important.
