11/14/19 It was a friend's birthday today and so we went thrift shopping with her! We had a wonderful time. 💕

This is the result of my latest DIY rescue from Goodwill (charity shop). I didn’t think to take a “before” photo but the original cushions were very tired and look like this:

If not for aesthetic reasons, for hygienic reasons the 40-50 year old cushions had to go, so I covered them with some fabric I already had.

The original back cushion was about the third of this one, leaving the back mostly open. It was a nice aesthetic, but it was nailed into the bamboo/wicker frame which I did not want to repeat at risk of damaging the frame.

The chair was $5, the cushion foam was about $10, so with tax all under $20, which isn’t bad., and now it’s super comfortable.

Trying some wonderful vintage stuff at Chez Ammar (65 rue Nollet 75017 Paris), a haven for connoisseurs who can luck out on bespoke pieces (here Feruch, and Smalto). Nice sartorial encounter with Arda75 trying on similar items—no one was hurt in the ensuing fights.

Happy Monday my lovelies!!! I wish to all of us a magical and exiting week 🙏 At this moment I'm in a coffee shop in the centre of the city cause I have a doctor's appointment in 2 hours from now...
