name: amalie and eira westergard ( pronounced ah-mah-lei and eye-rah )amalie gry westergard - translating to amalie “dawn” westergardeira lene westergard - translating to “mercy” “moon” westergard gender: both born femalegeneral appearance: both girls have their fathers strawberry blonde locks and their mothers striking blue eyes. being twins, the girls are often mistaken for one another but there are very clear distinctions between them physically. despite both having a little cleft in their chin, like their father, eira has a dimple on her left cheek and amalie has a dimple on her right. other than that, the two could be considered identical. personality: both are very regal due to who their parents are, however, both can also be quite silly. being so young, they still act a lot like one another. they have yet to form their own major individual personalities. so far, the differences that their parents notice is that amalie is the caretaker, always making sure that her sister has everything she needs before thinking of herself, and eira is the more thoughtless one. that being said, though, eira is incredibly thoughtful. she can be just a bit forgetful at times and, although she cares about everyone she meets, she does know how to put herself first when need be. the girls are soft-spoken and love to read. both have been called very well-mannered but, really, they’re just shy and enjoy keeping to themselves. special talents: amalie is a little ice skater just like her mother. maybe even better than her mother! shes a natural in the rink. elsa was incredibly nervous to start the girl in competitions but amalie seems to be taking just fine to the stress. if at any time it becomes too much, though, elsa is ready to pull the plug even if hans tells her its too soon. eira is a fencer. a little spitfire when she wants to be, the girl surprised both elsa and hans when she took to the skill with such ease. being so quiet and kind, neither of the westergards assumed their daughter would be into a vicious sport but they couldn’t deny her the opportunity to do what she loves. so, even though elsa gets nervous about her babys being hurt and hans gets over zealous at competitions, they support their two daughters no matter what. who they like better: amalie tends to lean towards elsa. be it the fact that her mother became her coach on the ice or the fact that they’re so similar, taking care of everyone else but themselves, the two of them just get along better. eira tends to like hans more. she’s quiet like elsa but she has a sneaky and manipulative side to her that comes out during competitions. her father is always helping her learn new moves to psych the competition out and, though both of them are kinder than competition suggests they are, there’s a need for her to be the best in all she does. who they take after more: amalie tends to take after elsa more and eira tends to take after hans more for the same reasons that they like each parent the way they do. personal head canon: despite being twins they were born on different days. at 11:58pm january 12th, amalie was born and at 12:03am on january 13th, eira was born. the two like to spend their birthdays together though and enjoy a double day celebration rather than just one.
