(SUBMARINES AND SPACE TRAVEL, I’M LOOKING AT YOU) When I made this account: back in 2012 (if I’m not mistaken) Why I made this account: originally was meant to be a place to explore my ‘niche’ for a uni course (my niche interest at the time was tie knots!) but left it for ages and then returned in 2016/17, when I was looking for a supportive platform to write poetry on. 91: what is your favourite word?A: That’s such a hard one - but I think it has to be the word “Apricity” which means “The warmth of the sun in winter”

100: What are some words you live by and why?A: I know it sounds really cliche but I guess “When you feel like quitting, think about why you started” because it always gets me through exams and when schoolwork is really hard because sometimes I have to remember why I’m doing it all when it’s so stressful!

Hello, it’s me...

Reflecting on this year that is about to end in just a couple days I felt like I needed to adress my followers and mutuals and this fandom in general. I came to realize that, what out of my fear or shyness, I had so rarely reached out to people. I was always scared of rejection or of someone finding me too boring to interact with so I’ve kept myself out of almost  every form of communication. This excludes a handful of people I talk to on a daily basis and that are very very dear to me. So after being on tumblr for over two years, I have decided to  just go with it. So what I’m trying to say here is: Hello, this is me.

My name is Silvija but I go by my middle name Tamara (Tammy for short). I’m almost 40 years old, married, I have four children (ages 18, 15, 6 and 4), I work in an office. I love to read, love to cook and love to run (jog). I listen to all types of music but my favourite is jazz music. I hate horror movies and romantic movies, I‘ve never read Harry Potter, I don’t watch Game of thrones and have no desire to go see The Hunger Games. 

I have a minor form of OCD. I have these ‘repetitive rituals’ where I have to do everything in even numbers. I also have panic attacks every now and then, but I've learned to control them the best I could.

I hope me being this open will not push my followers away and that we will interact more in 2016. I love you all.

   Stracciatella (vanilla with chocolate chip)

   I’m not the only one by Sam Smith

3. How many siblings do you have? 

   One sister and something I’ve found out recently, a step-brother (a son my father had with his long term mistress.

4. Any hidden talents? 

   Should I say dancing like Cameron? Nah, I’m gonna go with singing maybe?    i dunno...  

5. What age do you consider old?   

   One is never too old. Age is just a number.

6. What do you usually eat for breakfast?

   Milk and cereals.

7. What is one of your weird quirks? 

   I’m a perfectionist when it comes to keeping my living and working space        clean.   Some would say I’m too pedantic, but here is where my OCD shows it’s true colours.

8. Britney or Christina? 

  Um, Nicky? Sorry, the two you offered are just a no-no.

9. Are you a listener or talker? 

  Both, but I’m always a great shoulder to cry on (so they tell me).

10. What household chore do you hate the most? 

   Ironing. Can’t fucking stand it.

11.Most important quality needed in a friend?

   Confidence, trust, I want someone I can rely on at anytimes and for anything.
