Terracotta Army. Jelly Baby edition.
I made this in between watching Mariah Carey performance videos and eating chicken. Crochet is one of my creative foundations; the brown Clover USA hooks in this photo are my absolute favorite tools. They're durable and work well with any yarn that I've used. The skinny silver hooks are for super-tiny crochet projects, which I haven't focused on yet. And then there are the jewelry supplies and notions; I took one jewelry class a long time ago but my personal style evolved and now I hardly ever wear, or feel compelled to make, jewelry. My style references now are simple, rugged Americana, early Bruce Springsteen and leather boots. I'm excited to explore more of this in 2016, plus more concerted attempts at full creative expression with everything I have.
